  • How many chickens were you making with this recipe??

2 cups of flour and 2 cups of bread crumbs sounds overly much...

I've always wanted to learn to make this type of chicken so you don't have to go to restaurant no more :)

    Thanks for this recipe.

    Kelvin

  • @maplepoon Hi Kelvin! I got 12 milanesas from this recipe. I am sure I had a little bit of flour and bread crumbs left over but it is hard to calculate the exact amount when you are making these. I hope you are well!

  • Your Awesome!!!

  • @orangebowl79 Thank you! I appreciate you stopping by!

I was born in New Mexico but raised in Bolivia. I have been making videos in California, La Paz and Cochabamba Bolivia and Vanuatu. Currently I am back in La Paz. I really appreciate your support. Have a wonderful weekend!

  • i have friends from Argentina that do this with ground beef-

  • @cabernetqueen I have never seen this made with ground beef but that sounds interesting! Thanks!

  • @pastryparrot1 If you had a P.O. Box for fan mail, I'd send you a letter and a box of Panko Bread Crumbs. Except, I wonder what the duty on them would be? LOL

  • @nmilligan77 Pete once sent me some chocolate that cost him $9 US dollars. I had to pay $40 to get them out of customs! I asked them to send them back and they refused. That would be the most expensive Panko in the world! I will pick some up in LA on my way to Bolivia. Thanks Nicole!

  • I'm officially hooked. Have you though about tv? And can I buy a t-shirt?

  • @chevalier5722 Haha! TV would be fun, huh? I will see what I can do about the T-shirt! Thank you so much!

  • @ikawlang717 You are so welcome! I am so happy the hams worked for you! Thank you very much for letting me know and for all your support!

  • Uprated. Chicken, beef or pork, none taste right when bought pre-prepared and frozen, by factory producers. These are so good plain -- don't need any sauce! Beef or veal cutlets done this way in Italy are considered fancy food indeed and why not chicken? People get intimidated by the breading but it's so easy. Happy New Year!

  • @slobomotion And to you too Lisa! I hope this is a wonderful year for you!

  • I LOVE YOU LADY FOR THOSE RECIPES ON YOUTUBE THEY ARE AMAZING RECIPES

  • @history797 Thank you! I appreciate it!

  • @SUNNYSUNSHINE763 Great! I hope you like it! Thanks!

  • (I'm sorry it posted twice.)

  • Yum! My 4 year old son & I were happy to see another video. But, don't work too hard! Enjoy your holiday. Do you ever use Panko bread crumbs?

  • @nmilligan77 I love Panko crumbs! Unfortunately, I can not find them in Bolivia. I am planning on getting some on my way back to take with me. Thank you so much! I am not working too hard! Take care!

  • You live in Bolivia? I have always wondered where you live because the scenery behind you during the intros is so beautiful! Thanks for the recipe! =)

  • @payalas I am living in Bolivia, yes. Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate it.

  • @pastryparrot1 thanks really awesome! thanks for your videos they are amazing! =)

  • @payalas She keeps them concise and shows very good technique without being pedantic. I really appreciate that. I hope more people cook without fear by watching her videos. It's such a money saver. And we learn to be nice to the cook, ha ha!!

  • @slobomotion hahah so true!!! =)))))))))))

  • @payalas I call Mary Ann "Sunny Lady." In my own home, things are far from perfect, but I love to cook and aim to please (healthfully and frugally). You don't want to get the cook mad at you, ha ha ha ha!! I had a fiancé who was sick for some time and he hated oatmeal but loved poached eggs. When he was bad, he got oatmeal for breakfast, served beautifully in bed. Food punishment! (He did love those reward poached eggs!) :)

  • Hi thanks for all the good recipes! Do you have any good slow cooker videos you want to share? I have a slow cooker but never use it...

  • @NuclearBlue Yes. I have a few. The easiest way to find them is on the website. Thank you for stopping by!

  • Can these be cooked in the oven as a healthier alternative to pan frying?

  • @Tokioka Go ahead. Spray the baking sheet and the meat a little bit so they do not dry up. Thanks for watching!

  • Looks delicious,as always.Yum !

  • @MsChopperdog Thank you!

  • Looks great. I actually used to think that milanesas had parmesan in them, but this will taste just as good.

I don't typically like to fry my meat (because I'm too lazy to clean up after), so I could probably cook this in the oven, right?

  • @markiemarkstyle We do not add Parmesan to our milanesas en Bolivia. You can definitely cook these in the oven. Make sure you spray the pan and the meat before you bake them so they do not dry up. Thanks for coming by!
