Ok, well the reason this happens, is because, I have no fucking idea. But what you're REALLY supposed to do, is this: A second Altaïr sometimes appeared while riding away from Masyaf on a horse, triggered by going between two pillars. On the right pillar was a surrounding glow usually associated with targetable objects or people. Investigating this yielded a second Altaïr. (From Asassin's Creed Wiki)

I found out this glitch on the first day assassins creed was out. Picking up the copy from gamestop, I hurried on home. Doing the glitch, I did it about 16 times. I had my personal squad of assassins, and went on and tried haybaling. None of the clones went in, but guards didnt see them.. Guards are so pitifully retarded.
