  • Nice!!!

  • open field makes it sound like airsoft.

  • Lets see some video of her shooting at golf balls, especially as they move farther and farther downrange.........Now THAT is a challenge!!

  • I'd like to see the tatoo on her arm?

  • Comment removed

  • ahh girls guns and tattoos

  • This is a known fact by a few....All things being equal....women are better shooters than men....No Really, studies have shown this.... Cheers.

  • Awesome video sir. Wish I could see Mrs. Miller's full tat on her shoulder. It looks sweet. Next time maybe?

  • the rifle is it with silencer??

  • @Dan42ize Lol, no. It is just a .22lr rifle, so less report then most, and the mic is not picking it up fully, as it does not in other videos with more powerful rifles and shotguns.

  • Do you think it is better to have a dedicated .22 platform like the M&P or will an AR with a .22 conversion kit work just as well?

  • Tats but chanell glasses nice combo!!

  • No more videos of you shooting please, just her. LOL Just kidding.

I go through girlfriends like crazy because none of them can shoot for shit, or maybe it's because I'm an asshole. Either way, I have high standards.

  • Are you going to make a video of someone shooting your .22 Henry lever action rifle?

  • Looks like she knew what she was doing to me ,Nice shooting

  • At first I thought she was dry firing over and over.

  • You should make a video of your wife, yourself and your son opening up all at once. Fully automatic family fun.

  • @dahvisibleinvisible That would indeed be badass!!!

  • Can she really hit something with her face so close to that rear sight? She knows the stock adjusts right?

  • @gboyd242 When using iron sights on an AR, you need to be as close as comfortably possible to that rear sight for a more precise shot.

  • @millerusaf That's to a point though. When you get too close you start to lose precision unless you have a really small rear aperture. I guess I just never use my small aperture for close range......

  • @gboyd242 The closer, the better. It doesn't matter if you are using the large or small aperture. A quick tip: Once you get really good at keeping both eyes open, you won't need the large aperture at all. In most close quarters (less than 25 yards) you won't use the aperture, but you will achieve a rough sight picture with just the front sight assembly.

  • @millerusaf I shoot both eyes open with anything 4 power or less. Most of my experience is with shotguns so that's what I'm used to. That said I still don't try to get as close as I can to the rear sight. I always position myself at the point farthest from the rear sight where I can still maintain focus. Otherwise I don't see how you can get any kind of precision. Now if you're just talking target acquisition I could see where you're coming from. Maybe my eyes are just messed up.

  • @millerusaf Not really.... lol

  • @taurran Yes, really....lol.

  • @millerusaf Just some fyi... you're saying that to a USMC PMI. I was the one that did KD rifle instruction for the base competition shooters. You'd want to back off the rear sight aperture in order to allow for a more precise center on the front sight post. Just sayin... you can continue shooting like that if you'd really like but it's not best practice.

  • @taurran I instruct use of the AR15 also. The tightest groups were always from folks that got up as close as possible to that rear aperture. With that said, there is usually more than one way to do things.

  • @millerusaf Well at least we can agree there. There's another reason why we don't typically instruct distance shooting on carbine stocks.

  • @taurran In my unit, we typically focus more on close quarters fundamentals, but longer distance engagement with the M4 is covered because of the after action reports received from the Afghan AOR.

Honestly, I wish I could trade my M4 in for even a basic M16A2 model. I would just run the forward-positioned A2 carry handle mount for an M68 CCO if needed. I prefer the full size over the carbine for Air Base Defense purposes (the most likely situation members in our unit may find themselves in).

  • @millerusaf Fair enough. The vid looked more like admin range shooting than anything. In for MOUT ops we learned to utilize an aggressive, squared off, groucho stance and combat glide. (I was an 0311/0331 before PMI ;) ) I didn't really mean to turn this into a dick measuring contest, but I guess it's to be expected. lol

  • @millerusaf Since we're all discussing marksmanship, she should also keep the trigger depressed while following the shot. Hammering off it usually decreases accuracy. ;)

  • @taurran If you are talking follow through all the way through recoil, she's got that down. She's been shooting her AK74 and my full size AR15 at 500 meters, and she'll smack the target with ease.

Plus, considering she is firing at a faster rate at a closer target, she's not going to hold the trigger back for a longer amount of time (no need to).

    ;)

  • @millerusaf There is definitely need to. The only time you wouldn't is if you're doing hammer drills.

  • @millerusaf well said

  • @gboyd242

Actually, the Army tells you to put your nose on the charging handle. You get a consistent sight picture, cheek weld, and you shoot more accurately.

If you think her shooting is weird, you might do some research on the matter and change how you shoot.

  • @gboyd242, do you know how to use ghost rings?

  • @nowthisis2stupidYes, I do. Why would I ask if I didn't? I suppose if it is a really small rear aperture and shooting close range that could work. It just looks awkward. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing smaller framed people shooting irons on a gun with minimal recoil.

  • @gboyd242 Okay first of all, most if not all Ar-15, and 22 versions have a large and small diameter diopter. I'm a large framed person and I shoot with my stock almost fully retracted (second notch out to be specific). and an AR-15 really doesn't have any recoil to speak of even in .223/5.56...

  • @gboyd242

in fact, she is not close enough, nose on the Charging Handle is what they learn you in the army, and both eyes open, you can check that by finding movies on youtube, about zeroing in a AR 15/ M16

  • @ruudjeshol lol...

  • She's a steady shot...very confident with that M&P...makes me want one too!

  • Cool. She seems like a keeper all right. :)

  • it cool you and your wife can hang at the range together. i like it when my wife goes with me, good times.

  • Its fun to take the wife shooting.I know mine shoots better then me.

  • It's a .22lr so she can be steady all day long. Also her deadly accuracy is a different story when the target can shoot back. No pressure to shoot accurately when it is not for real.

  • @or2169 She can shoot well when a little pressure is put on her. No worries on that. :)

  • I like her tats! :). .. Also nice shooting. :D

  • Badass wife haha

  • I know this bad but can she wear a bikini next time

  • @tarboy69 Nope. That's just for me and me only.

  • @millerusaf But but if she does you will get 10x as many views!

  • @millerusaf LOL i had to ask. Keep up the good work i enjoy your vids

  • You should teach her to use the sling. Way more stable.

  • She is good looking nice job. Do u got any Henry rifles?

  • @USSWISCONSIN64 Henry lever action (.22LR)

  • @millerusaf Col. I been wanting a Henry for a long time. Either a 45. Or a simple .22lr.

  • maaaaasive recoil on that baby

  • again... Sex sells.

  • Great rifle and video, I love my M&P 15-22

  • Nice video man is the wind always blowing like that? Oh by the way nice wife too.
