Bypass School or Office Internet blocks using Command Prompt

In my book this qualifies as hacking. Granted it's a very simple hack, but a hack none the less. Although I can see why people had a problem with the title. Most people think that hacking is all about unauthorized access to a computer system. Which isn't true. Hacking is all about learning and exploration. You don't need to break into a computer to be a hacker. You don't even need to use a computer to be a hacker. There were hackers before computers ever existed.

@purplemutantas to be honest, its not really a hack, just a shortcut to the cmd, nothing special, all you do is press start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Command Prompt, Ha you can even right click it and create a shortcut from that, Go Learn some Java Script and C++ Before You Get into Modifing Programs

@TheComplexCraft its helpful because most offices like mine doesn' t allow to access internet..they also block the command prompt beacuse they know we can do magic in cmmnd prompt...pressing start>allprograms>and etc.. commnd prompt has been blocked its will not be on the list.. and it worked for me

you can just rename every file you want to cmd.bat and press RBM, edit and type the command thing XD

you can also make a "doc" or "txt" when you want to

ps, youtube is owned by google now, so you just go to google when you try it with youtube

No, it's not considered hacking because anyone with half a braincell can do it (you are living proof) and it doesn't allow unauthorized access to a computer system. I included the definition for a reason - apparently you don't even understand that.

The command prompt CAN be used for hacking but THIS isn't hacking.

Hacking: To gain access to (a computer file or network) illegally or without authorization.

You're already on the network (therefore not gaining unauthorized access to it) and any old idiot can access a command prompt - especially when there are no restrictions in place. Hacking is illegal, this isn't.

Do I know everything? No, but it appears I know alot more about computer systems than you do so why don't you just shut the fuck up and stop making youself look like a retard.

1 - That's not hacking

2 - Schools and offices should be blocking the cmd prompt, not just removing the shortcut for it so the notepad thing won't work

3 - You're just using the IP to connect to the server instead of the domain name. It's just as easy for a school/office to block the IP.

Still, nice video and well explained. Hope it helps people with less strict schools/offices.

what about most schools blocking cmd? thought about that... easier way, and better way cus this method won't work for most school networks (or they must be really stupid), is just using proxy sites. It will bypass every site, till proxy site gets a banned keyword ofcouse :P

.... if they block cmd while executing for non administrators you won't be able to use it.... there are a lot of ways to get INTO cmd, but executing codes won't be able since the message in cmd at our school is like: command prompt is blocked by the administrator - please contact you ....

anyway I tried portable command prompts too executed while xp was in safe mode and then it worked.
