Since you're an olympic shooter, why is it these are the only style of pistols used? There are lots of replicas of real firearms that are extremely accurate too.
Europeans manufacture the best "Target " pistols, such as Hammerlii, Walther, Steyr, Pardini, FAS, Benelli Anschutz and some others. These have the best multi adjustable triggers and are set up for optimal balance, handling & low recoil, they cost $2k - $3k each. There is no substitue "replicas" as far as i know. If you can build & sell a competitive target pistol for less than $2k then you will be rich. The Colt & Browning family of handguns do have many brands making basicaly the same design
