I'm impressed with the video on my DMC-TS1 but very disappointed in the quality of the still images. I feel reviewers have downplayed the significant image issues making excuses on account of the ruggedization feature, but to me the still images are not good at all. Specifically the entire right hand side is soft, and the image is hugely noisy even in good light and low ISO.

Exactly my thoughts too. I have a 3 year old Pentax Optio with only 3.2 mega pixles and it blows the the Lumix FT1 stills into the weeds. The images get worse even slightly zoomed in too and are very grainy at only half zoom in good light. 5/5
