well thanks for your input. I'd like to see other videos of "lightening" like the one I shot. I've never in my life seen anything like it. It looked more like a comet, but you can't even see those during the day. Definately was too slow to be regular lightening
Actually, comets can be visible in the daytime. I doubt it's a comet though, way too fast. Could be a meteor/meteorite, but that's still unlikely.
It does seem to move slowly for lightning but chain lightning between clouds can look like what you've captured. That, plus the fact that you can only see the reflection, could explain it.
I'll try to dig up a video of what I'm talking about and post it here for you.

Actually, that's not correct. Most meteors travel across the sky & burn up high in the atmosphere. Chances are that you've seen them at night streaking across the sky (aka Falling Stars). It would be very rare indeed to see one come at you head on (i.e. straight down) and if it was a meteorite instead of a meteor, you'd be incredibly unlucky. I know of 2 occasions where cars have been hit by meteorites but none where people have been. That's how rare it is to see one coming straight down at you.

Perhaps you saw more live but, judging only from the video, I don't see it fly upwards. I see a light patch on the cloud cover go across the sky from the extreme left of frame to about 1/5th of the way in. I see no evidence of any altitude change. In fact, it doesn't actually look like an object at all, it looks more like a reflection from something bright reflected on the cloud cover.
But, as I said, you were there, i wasn't, and I'm judging by a grainy video so who am I to say you are wrong?

It truly moved up and then disappeared into the clouds. But who am I to say YOU are wrong. I just would like to see something like what I saw so that I could possibly dismiss it as paranormal
For what it's worth, I could see that the light angled upwards. I think it's very possible that the light was the spirit of that person crossing over.

The ambulance wasn't anywhere around when i saw the light. I know there was no way for you to know that, but i know what i saw and it was no reflection or anything of that nature, it was IN the sky
