@capnwren I'd suspect people make that mistake because so many young-boy pop idols get autotuned into this same voice range. If you've seen any of her live performance (especially the ones she did for 103.1FM a few years back), you'd know she does it naturally, with nothing but a MIDI machine so she can do samples and loops live.
