really truly lovely--a wonderful thing to hear thru your music the birthplace of the music itself,..your impressions..I'm working thru pictures of England,...and am just tickled.
Hey Paul, This new suite is sounding great. I hear the themes intertwining throughout both pieces. Nice mix of consonance and dissonance. It's awesome to see a classical player writing new music for the instrument.
In my ears the first part has a light spanish touch, a little taste of Granados...it's beautiful. Congratulations Paul for this nice musical idea, lighthearted and played with ease
Dear Paul : You're playing very artistic, but is it possible to build in images of Surrey while you're playing that beautiful sound??? I hope you understand what I mean.
I like your idea of this new series. Am looking forward to travel your country via your music. The first two pieces are, as always, delightful. Thanks for so generously sharing your music.
You are the first person to notice that Mary, December was written and I even recorded it but I never got around to making a video, I guess I should one day. :)
Thank you, and thanks for watching my latest video too.
I congratulate you on your new project Paul..I hope you can visit as many cities as you want and hope you to meet a generous muse in turn..You-talented musician-deserve the best :)
Your natural ability to write your own material on such a high level as well as playing works of all different difficulties amazes me! You are soooo talented!!!
Very nice piece of music, I was born in redhill but I'm sure there are nice places in surrey that would have inspired you, will you be writing about places up north or are you sticking to the home counties? ;OD
I love these kinds of interpretations Paul, and I know Surrey is very pretty and verdant, so I think you have created a lovely piece of work that is a compliment to that beautiful part of our country...

you have not to excuse you for your facial expressions, generally they reflect what you feel while you are playing and that's cool!

alzebub666 2 years ago
There is much variation in Surrey, it becomes very green in the west and south.
As for northern counties, I absolutely will be writing for these, I spend most of my life in the north and some of the secenery is spectacular.
Thank you very much alzebub. :)
