  • Whenever i try to open sonic adventure.cdi it say error cannot be loaded. help!

  • If you don't mind my asking, how'd you get it to run at full speed? I have Limited Edition too(I can tell because Kasumi speaks in japanese before the title), and am using NullDC 1.0.3, but it only runs at half speed for me.

  • @Kirblord23

    Depends on hardware...

This was my computer specs when i made the video:

    Intel dual core 2.6

    8600 GTS

    4 GB ram

Pretty ancient compared to today's standards!

It's been a while since i messed around with NullDc. There may be a setting to set the frames per second. Possible you might have yours too low? Im really not sure. It really depends on the hardware you are using.

  • Where can i download this rom?

  • do you have save file for this for every costume you can upload and post the link?

  • thats not the Normal DoA 2 version.. Its the Japanese Limited Edition. ö.ö

  • Really? How can you tell?

  • @VAR1UM in the beginning, Kasumi Say something. I think it was somethink like: this FIght is not over... or something. Doesent knot at the moment.. And this she only do on the beginning, of the limited edition, after the sega logo. in my normal Version and in my ps2 and (( remaked)) xbox version, she doesent Speak at the beginning.

  • Good ear!

  • @VAR1UM am i right? *grin* i love DoA. Best beat em up series. ^^ <3 I hope my DC comes next week. Btw.. Sry about my bad English. (^_\\)

  • this was one of the most sexiest fighting games ever

  • I've been looking for a doa 2 rom forever, the ones I've downloaded were always just a bin and cue file. They never worked with nulldc, I'm looking for the actually cdi file instead.

  • If you open NullDc and click file - open BIN that might work. But all my files are CDI so i cant say for certain. Try going to Romulation[dot]net or Dope roms and looking for it. I prefer romulation ;)

  • Yeah I figured it out, I got the rom from dcisozone, but thanks anyways ;)

  • I forgot that i used a Bin to CDI program that converts bin to cdi... DUH! Its called B2B_gui . exe I included a link below. Just copy and paste into your browser but delete any spaces!!! You tube will not let you post links unless you add spaces! So delete the spaces and use that program. its quick and easy and will save time. emutalk . net / attachment . php ?s = 3d9ba95d3377499ce3d9ee38cd661219 & attachmentid = 32955 & d = 1151410054

  • hello

what ROM or version are you using ? cause i've never been able to run the game properly, it just never started.

  • I hope I'm not bothering you but could you please explain how you were able to record a video from a Dreamcast emulator? I use nullDC but it lags too much whenever I start recording. I have tried several programs such as Camtasia and ZD Recorder.

Could you please help me out.

  • ITs been awhile since i was recording off the nullDC. I think i was in fact using Camtasia. I also used FRAPS. But i NEVER got it to run flawless and fluid. It was always choppy. I think in this video it even skips and the audio is whacked out of sync towards the end. Different video formats kinda helps when recording.

I have a intel duo cpu at 2.66

    4 gigs ram

    2 nvidia 8600gts in sli

It still records like crap most times. Probably better to record it through a tivo or something.

  • Oh ok, thanks for answering. I thought I had to configure things to get it to record right. My computer is much much slower than yours so I think its just my computer. Thanks for the tips.

    :)

  • awesome -- make more nulldc in hd. also - is it laggy because of the video capture?

  • a little of both, sorta. The game itself doesnt lag on my computer but does suffer from slow down when too much architecture is in frame.

And when combined with camtasia recording the nulldc window, the frame rate stutters when played back. On average i can get around 60 fps and peaks of up to 75fps. Im still trying to perfect the recording and hopefully bring true widescreen hd which nulldc is perfectly capable of producing.
