You see Soviet Union, North Korea and china as communism? They have never been, world havent seen real communism yet. Look and see how failed system capitalism is, money to rich people who dont deserve it, banks who steal money which is mean to help people, not the fucking bank, dont you understand, banks are more important to politicians than working people.
I am very aware of how the Soviet Union, North Korea and China are not examples of true communism at work. I do admit that although communism may sound very appealing it IS a failed system. For example in Soviet times under Stalin, Ukraines were murdered by the millions. In China under Mao's economic plan which he called the Great Leap Forward thousands of Chinese landowners were evicted from their homes and murdered. How can you defend such actions from Communist regimes?
You also say that capitalism is a failed system and you give me all this rhetoric. Do you understand that people who are rich are the people in society that create jobs?? Without these jobs NO ONE can get any money and without money you cannot enjoy a decent standard of living. Pose den to katalvenes auto? They create jobs, but every job will be taken by automatics and development which really doesnt help the people who need that job to get decent standard of living. The production of too many useful things results in too many useless people.
@Scatmanfi How can you useful things results in useless people? Companies hire people to make a product that people WANT. If more people want the product the comapnies will hire MORE people creating MORE jobs. In communism the government controls the means of production and decides what the people want..completely unfair. In Mao's China the government produced useless things which made useless workers and he even gave bonuses to managers of factories that did "good" work.
Maybe thats because people want very useless things what they dont need and call this ''decent standard of living''. Give man a fish so he can feed hes family, if you teach the man how to fish, youll lose the profit which comes to you. Here in the USA we have something called school and you see we go to school and learn about the histories of my different nations including nations that have tried to implement communisim and failed such as the Soviet Union, North Korea and China. You see maybe if you Greeks stayed in school instead of constantly going to the streets to protest you would understand too.

@Chemgreece Well done, you've learned some stuff about cccp. unfortunately, all you've learned was probably some communist propaganda. The truth is this - communism doesn't work. Every communist countries so far had a dictatorship, witch is bad. Censorship and propaganda was strong, so news were useless and there wasn't much free culture. Painters for example had to make patriotic pictures only. Oh, and commies were very good at making mass graves.
@anton2maa no capitalist have managed to treak ex-soviet citizens so that they think capitalism is better but now they want CCCP back..90% or even more of the people from ex-socialistic countries i meet describe me more or less a paradise..work for everyone, health care, a lot of free time, high standards of living in general..

@Chemgreece No profit? the country has an economy, so the government itself has a profit to be made. the CCCP fell, because of the economy crisis. The people got money for working, but the pay was different depending on the job, so equality my ass. everybody, who I met in my country, is an anti-communist. Those 90%, who you met, probably lived in a low economy country anyway, so yeah. Higher living standard my ass. A lot of people were sent to Syberia against their own will.....

The censorship is pain in the ass and if you publicly announce, that you strongly dislike the state, then they'll simply throw you in prison. Also, about "taking care of the people", when soviet occupation started in Estonia and other Eastern-European countries, they randomly took people from their homes, against their own will.....

As soon as the economy started to fall because of the cold war, Mikhail Gorbachev was elected by the council to get the economy back on the line. The "Perestroika" started, that lowered the repression, only to make the today's ex-soviet blocks struggle out from soviet union. Also, since you're from Greece and you know very little about communism, and I live in Estonia and know a lot about communism...
@anton2maa no my fathers family lived in a socialistic state so i know some things from the people who lived all these..perestroika destroyed the economy cause it sterted to tyrn socialisticc economy towards capitalism..and DURING THAT PERIOD THE MOST OF THE PROBLEMS APPEARED..there were no goods the production declined and the people lost control over the state..ask your parents..

@Chemgreece Well, I haven't met an estonian, who claimed to be an communist and majority does live better. There is no repression now, we have democracy, the shops are full of all kinds of goods(during the soviet occupation, the government controlled, what shop will get what goods, so because of this Bureaucracy, the selection in shops was very small), more people have cars, more people have bigger houses, almost everybody has a computer...yeah, things are much better alright.

@Chemgreece In socialism, everybody is educated? My mother was educated in CCCP, but she isn't very smart. It doesn't matter, if you educate everybody. Right now, in my country, everyone is educated(9th grade minimum), but they can still act like a bunch of idiots, so that doesn't matter. And if you think about giving highest education to everybody, then take in mind, that some people's minds are not advanced enough for that extra studying. Also, I'm pretty sure they didn't teach politics.
@Chemgreece Servants? Right now, the parliament is supposed to be the "servants" not leaders of us. At least I can protest against my government, unless in CCCP. And I can vote somebody into the parliament, if I like to, unlike in CCCP, where the "soviet democracy" was nothing but one big propaganda. Local leaders were only approved by Soviet government. The dictator was elected by a small bunch of people in closed doors, instead of the whole nation's people.

@Chemgreece No, they still didn't let us leave, otherwise my birthplace would be Sweden. Borders were closed for emigrants and leaving needed some risking. Anyway, yes, the early human were communists(only without the repression and propaganda). They still didn't have equality, because some people were more wealthy than other(by possessions, not money).

@Chemgreece .....and they sent them to cold Siberia. Oh, did i mention, that they transported people in cattle wagons(that's kinda disrespectful). There was very little room and some people didn't even survive the trip. According to Soviet archives, 1,803,392 people were sent to labor colonies and camps in 1930 and 1931. 1,317,022 reached the destination. There were millions more transported after that. Oh, and labor camps weren't nice, some people died of hunger, cold and decease.
@anton2maa another argument produced by the propaganda industry of the NATO countries..these people you mention were fighting against the young soviet state with arms and trying to bring back the monarchy..so the western countries sent an army to fight in the civil war against the workers army and to help the monarchy..People of russia were for years lived in stone age while the Czar was living in palaces..those people are who have been sent to labour camps and they definitelly deserved it
@Chemgreece yes, some were political prisoners indeed, but most were peaceful ones, the ones, that protested(only lower class citizens win in socialist state, so the rest are mostly against it). Rest were petty criminals. Anyway, they still deported random people from their homes to cold siberian villages, which makes the CCCP bad for them, because their living standards got lowered a lot.
@Chemgreece ...Social technology was very bad compared to west, because the government invested mostly into military. You know, why the CCCP fell? Because they spent too much on military during the cold war. The economic crisis ensured.
@anton2maa so did the US but they didn't fell..so investing on military isn't what was wrong..take for example the nato countries today..they spent much more than CCCP..Soviets spent as less money as they could on the army in contrast with the US which economy is largely based on making wars and killign people so the weapon industry can make profits of trillions

I am very aware of how the Soviet Union, North Korea and China are not examples of true communism at work. I do admit that although communism may sound very appealing it IS a failed system. For example in Soviet times under Stalin, Ukraines were murdered by the millions. In China under Mao's economic plan which he called the Great Leap Forward thousands of Chinese landowners were evicted from their homes and murdered. How can you defend such actions from Communist regimes?

If more people want the product the comapnies will hire MORE people creating MORE jobs. In communism the government controls the means of production and decides what the people want..completely unfair. In Mao's China the government produced useless things which made useless workers and he even gave bonuses to managers of factories that did "good" work.

Every communist countries so far had a dictatorship, witch is bad. Censorship and propaganda was strong, so news were useless and there wasn't much free culture. As soon as the economy started to fall because of the cold war, Mikhail Gorbachev was elected by the council to get the economy back on the line. The "Perestroika" started, that lowered the repression, only to make the today's ex-soviet blocks struggle out from soviet union. Also, since you're from Greece and you know very little about communism, and I live in Estonia and know a lot about communism...

There is no repression now, we have democracy, the shops are full of all kinds of goods(during the soviet occupation, the government controlled, what shop will get what goods, so because of this Bureaucracy, the selection in shops was very small), more people have cars, more people have bigger houses, almost everybody has a computer...yeah, things are much better alright.

Right now, in my country, everyone is educated(9th grade minimum), but they can still act like a bunch of idiots, so that doesn't matter. And if you think about giving highest education to everybody, then take in mind, that some people's minds are not advanced enough for that extra studying. Also, I'm pretty sure they didn't teach politics.

The dictator was elected by a small bunch of people in closed doors, instead of the whole nation's people.

@anton2maa and i can even admit that mistakes happened..but mistakes happen today..our system of justice sents in prison inoccent people while criminals are free..but people do mistakes..the point is to create such a system that will be as fair as possible..and a system is fair when everyone can control it..if a system of justice is controlled by the people then it is as fair as it will ever be..the system we have today is not under the direct control of the people so it is corrupted

@Chemgreece .....and they sent them to cold Siberia. Oh, did i mention, that they transported people in cattle wagons(that's kinda disrespectful). There was very little room and some people didn't even survive the trip. According to Soviet archives, 1,803,392 people were sent to labor colonies and camps in 1930 and 1931. 1,317,022 reached the destination. There were millions more transported after that. Oh, and labor camps weren't nice, some people died of hunger, cold and decease.

@anton2maa another argument produced by the propaganda industry of the NATO countries..these people you mention were fighting against the young soviet state with arms and trying to bring back the monarchy..so the western countries sent an army to fight in the civil war against the workers army and to help the monarchy..People of russia were for years lived in stone age while the Czar was living in palaces..those people are who have been sent to labour camps and they definitelly deserved it

@Chemgreece yes, some were political prisoners indeed, but most were peaceful ones, the ones, that protested(only lower class citizens win in socialist state, so the rest are mostly against it). Rest were petty criminals. Anyway, they still deported random people from their homes to cold siberian villages, which makes the CCCP bad for them, because their living standards got lowered a lot.

While the capitalists care more about profit and won't help the helpless, the communists will limit the freedom and possibilities of it's citizens.
