i bought this album based on it being anew burt album..holy smoke, who knew Elvis was so beautiful in his phrasing and tone...A virtuoso of limited range but,, still..

The album is a masterpiece and evokes the deepest emotions

Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach must be the most inspired collaboration in music history. Who would have guessed? The results are phenomenal. I love ever song on the CD. I also bought the imported Japanese version that has about half the songs live, as an additional second CD.
