Ibn Ishaq was a bastard. He was a tool of the Kharjis. Also his original work does not even exist. Only an edited version of his Seera by Hashim nearly 120 years after Ibn Ishaq.
.
Also, Ibn Ishaq did NOT make hadiths. He made Seera, there is difference. Bukhari is an example of hadith. Ibn Ishaq did NOT even write hadiths.
God Damn the people here are freaking stupid. Ibn Ishaq has been condemned by Great Islamic scholars like Ahmad Ibn Hanbal and Imam Malik for being careless in compiling his information. Of course people are gonna lie about Prophet Muhammad-- people lied during the time of the Prophet, of course they are going to lie AFTER the time of the Prophet. There are several stories in Ibn Ishaq that don't have chain of transmission-- so HOW ON EARTH CAN WE TRUST THESE STORIES? We can't.
@vivaLAhinduism home boy the facts are against you. During the life of the prophet Muhammad (S) he had a whole council of sixty scribes of whom we know each one. The one scribe that was used the most was Zaid ibn Thabit (R).
Yup, the earliest biography and the first ever Islamic manuscript (besides the quran) is not authentic...instead we should rely on things written centuries later where the muslims would have selectively taken all the good parts of Muhammad and leave out all the bad stuff
Ibn Ishaq is not the oldest biography written on the quran as I quoted in my video and as is quoted in my source. Also just because one biography is older than another does somehow make it more authentic. But the quality of the sources of that biography is what makes it authentic.
@desiboyh What is the oldest biography then ? And please then give me the name of an "authentic" biography from the early muslims ? If the only authentic stuff are going to come centuries later, then your religion is a sham in my dictionary
You obviously know nothing about the method of obtaining historical accuracy nor do you know much about how Islam archives its sources.
The oldest sources abt the life of the prophet Muhammad (S) is that of the Hadith, which not only are first hand accounts but were collected during his lifetime from which we have manuscript evidence today.
I dont care whether you think islam is a sham or not, but to continue to use ibn ishaq is intellectual dishonesty.
Okay so lets examine Islam's method of obtaining islamic accuracy.
The quran is compiled some 20 years after the death of the prophet and all the variants are burned away by Uthman. A 100 years later the first biography is written by Ibn Ishaq by collecting information from the people.
another 100 years later, ppl like tabari, bukhari, muslim collect info from the people...This is what you call "accuracy" ? 200 years of hearsay. Oh well, better luck next time allah
too bad ur ignorance beats u again. First off the quran was compiled during the life of the prophet Muhammad (S). Also there are still two whole qurans left over. One is in Turkey and the other is in Uzbekistan.
Uthman standardized the dialect not the quran.
Your constant ignorant statements are starting to work against you. If your next post doesnt have a well researched argument than you will be blocked.
@desiboyh "First off the quran was compiled during the life of the prophet Muhammad (S)."
and Your evidence is ? Have you not heard of Zaid bin Thabit trying to compile the quran by running after all the sahabas. Are you unaware of the hadith where Zaid bin thabit said he found the last verse of sura tauba with ONLY one person
Block me ? A very muslim action i suppose. like i care. But with what you just stated the one that is actually ignorant is you i am afraid.
Shave yourself, have a nice hair trim at least comb your hair, put something better than a 5 year old t-shirt and then start lecturing westeners if you want them to listen you.

Every biography of Muhammad relies on Ibn Ishaq....so what parts don't you like?
Are you are major scholar?

@00ismaeL001
if you took the time to look at the source I quoted you would have seen that I quoted major scholars.

The majority of scholars quote Ibn Ishaq. Who are the scholars who are saying he is false?
