I love Gary and Robbie's relationship today. But my heart just breaks seeing Gary's face to what Robbie said to him through the television. Though they were nice things it just seems so unfair that Gary was the only one not getting something personally nice said about him.
@dkbif See his chest..he was breathing so quickly. He always hides his emotion, it's his way 2 protect himself. He said all he had 2 say 2 Rob in his songs. BTW, Rob's Shame line about the TV has not 2 be referred 2 this vid about the 5 of them..it's related to a "special' performance Rob did in 2005. BTW, in 2007 TT sang "I'd wait for life" on TV just after Rob came in rehab 2 save himself from his drug addiction. It was the first time in my life I've heard Gas being not always in tune
I think this was a very emotional documentary but also a soap opera... this is not the truth, the real story and many things that the lads said were not put in the montage... so glad for the happy ending!
gary barlow in the long term won this battle robbie in the short term, he came running back to take that when is jukebox crap album bombed, but time is a healer they are at piece with each other>>>>>>>>>what a story>>>>>>>
This confuses me! So did Gary do something wrong when TT spilt up? Coz when Robbie says about I'll never forgive him for what he did when they broke up? (or words to that effect)
i think it's amazing watching this and seeing where they were & where they are now...it's great to listen to all the rubbish that makes you feel really sorry for them but then think to yourself; hang on look at their lives now, they're so successful and as far as we can see everything is great...
if he felt truly sorry, he shouldn't have taken the cowards way out and apologised via video link. I remember seeing this on tv, and thinking how insincere this apology was. Robbie was so far up his own arse his legs were dangling out, during this time. How things change. Lets hope he remembers where he came from!
According to Robbie no-one ever told him the other four were meeting up. He was just told that all five of them would record a message to each other, so he recorded a message for them.
Who knows if Robbie would actually have agreed to meet them at that time, but the producers of the documentary didn't even give him a chance to make the decision.
You can hear all five of them discussing it at the end of "Take That - MSN exclusive interview Part 1/4" (sorry I can't do a direct link)
That's right, he also said he probably wouldn't have accepted to be a part of the documentary if he knew about the final meeting. But who knows. Anyway it was unfair to set him up like they did.
Thank God this is not the last chapter of TT, since then they have become a 5-MAN band again, Robs ofc married, Mark overcame his alcohol addiction and they are all at peace. Yay for happy endings!
I am melted by that documentary.. Of course Robs did some nasty comentary, but he grow up and did something what deep in my heart knew, he is great in heart and the apology is a crown on his heart. I am so glad they get through and I do not understand some of people called themselves fans, if they are not happy for 5 TT. If 5 TT are happy, you should be happy for hem and give them support....
Love all equally and cannot wait to see them on one stage live...
I really hope Robbie won't mess up Take That again!! You can see on the new album how he is already trying to take the lead... I hope it all goes well and they carry on singing and making records for many years to come.. I still don't see him as a sincere person.. I love his solo music.. I think they don't belong together anymore!!
Finally the truth from Rob's mouth, nobody tell him to meet the others at the end of the documentary but only to leave a message. He said if I knew they wanted to mount this film like that I would never agree to do it. And he never want the Gary's life but only to be in a band again.
Robbie may have the brit awards but when it comes down to it they are just trophies, blocks of metal. Would you rather come home, all alone to a room full of brits or to a family?
The video message really made me cry ... I love you lads. Take That is one big part of my childhood, and I will Never Forget that. Thank you for being so amazing xxxxx
In that Jay can see straight through Robbie when he is apologising to them. I would love to see them make just one song together but not for Robbie to stay and become part of the band, I just think his ego will take over again and will so something stupid and will hurt one of the other is some sort of way. I've got a feeling that Jay and Howard don't want him to be part of the band again. I don't think Mark does really he just wants his best mate back. Just my opinion
Yh I agree. I dont think that it would work quite as smoothly if Robbie came back, hes got a different attitude to all the rest now. I still think hes great, but only as a solo artist nowadays.
I really dislike Robbie William's. He wasted what Take That had going but I'm glad he's no longer in their band. Back then they were a boyband, now they're so much more than that & they're doing so much better now that he's not with them. They've matured & grown up, their career is, & has been, at a high point for a while now & Robbie William's career too is going somewhere, but it'll never be as powerful as Take That <3 love them.
@B00emma . very hard to disagree with you....i mean watching that documentary at the time - just confirmed what i knew. although Robbie is a character and is driven etc; Gary was the top bloke and was man enough to admit to Jay sorry for the bullying in the early days. he, mark , jason and howard are lovely lads and their success now proves there is justice in this world.
'4.10' This scene is proof that Robbie is still an egocentrical twat who hasn't grown up. He still has head up his own arse. This is a horrible clip, (4.10). Straight after the bit with Gary and his little girl. Gary is more of a man than Robbie will ever be. You can tell that the most important thing in Gary's life is his family, whilst Robbie is still intent on getting his little jibes in where he can. Grow up Robbie!
well i feel sorry for robbie because everyone makesmistakes and i do think he regrets it now ,,, so happy that they are recording together again :) SEEING ROBBIE AND GARY SINGING HEY JUDE ON THE CHILDERN IN NEED WAS THE BEST ,,,
i wish fans could get over what happen ... how can you be in love with robbie when he was in the band and then hate him after he left ,,,,
You can sum Robbie up in the one remark he made at the end of the interview, in one breath he brags about his 14 Brits and the next breath he said he'd swap it for Gary's life. He has a big ego and can't help himself, but he's very lonely and always looking for constant praise. He's an impulsive egotistical fool who is so insecure but that's his nature and I do not think he'll ever change. Take That don't need Robbie they're a more mature band now, and a whole lot better than before.
When Emily sang 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star', while Rob's movement was played along, I thought it seemed like Robbie is dead and the song was meant for Rob.
i think nigel martin realy hates robbie, for the way he told the things about robbie all the thing that he said are bads and if not he told it of a wway that he clarly looks angry wwhot robbie
fuck of nigel
the members of the band are greats and one of the best brithis band of all the times
an robbie is great to i dont hate anyone they are bought greats
I don't thing that Robbie was jealous of Gary. He simply grow up and don't want to stay under Nigel and Gary. If you see now, the new Take That is different than before, now they write the songs all together and they sing all (also Jay).
The truth of the split only them know why, but I remember Mark witch say that he miss Robbie more than the others. Strange if he was so guilty.
This documentary is very good very completely also and I believe that robbie if he feels alone and he must feel very sad of that it he does not have gary's family
robbie makes me sick. he was (and still is) so jealous of gary. gary was never out of ofder to robbie the first time. he was so high on drugs, must have been the paranoia kicking in!
their all talking again now, i hope to god take that dont let him back in again so he can ride on their sucess now that his career has gone down the pan. they are better now more than ever and have worked damn hard to get this far and i am so proud.
they say what comes around does around. there you go robbie.
Thanks for the upload! I remember watching this doc when it was first aired. I wasn't a fan of TT the first time round (probably because I was barely born lol) but I love them so much now!
Wayching this doc now after having recently been to see The Circus tour just shows how far they've come.
Gary is a lovely man, and like Nigel said, "Who's happier?"
I hope Rob does do alright for himself but TT as a four are perfect. Long may they be successfull, the deserve it!
i have just got this on dvd i was only like 1 when they broke up so i was not here the first time to hear them and that but i love them so much now gary is my fav i love him and i have to say i realy dont like robbie he is no way as good as gary gary is 10 times better and + he is so cute x x
Great documentary. I was a teenager when TT first formed but I wasnt an avid fan. I liked them and Gary was always my fave, but now second time round they are bigger and better. Love their songs - my fave Rule the World is just fantastic. Gary has an amazing voice and is so genuinely nice. I'm glad things have turned around for him cos he deserves it. Btw I dont understand wot Rob meant by Gary didnt know how he acted/behaved??
After watching this documentary its funny how their story is similar to the spice girls. Both were created for the same reason, both audtioned the same way, both had success, one band member left, had success as a four for a short time and then split for good. Just a shame Spice Girls couldn't do it second time round like Take That!!!!
i dont understand what gary did to robbie that the rest of the three lads did as well, like it wasnt as if it was gary's idea to comfront robbie, but it was all of them, or was it the conflict of ideas??? it was ages ago really. like robie should have known that they had to comfront him with his drink/drug problem, but i have to admit, they could have approached him in a better way. robbie had a sucesful career for a while but fell apart a few years ago really. brill concert in croke park!!!!!!!
when mark asked gary : what woud you say back ? what did gary say ? I`v Definitely Said It In Mind Of Yours ? what does that even mean ? PLEASE , SOMEBODY EXPLAIN IT TO ME .
The people who say Robbie was sincere are blind. All you have to do is look in his eyes to see he doesn't mean a thing he is saying. Gary and Jason see right through his bullshit as well, you can tell by their reaction.
You're right zaklamp! Glad that two quarters of Take That can see right through Rob (I think Howard does too if I'm being honest). I feel a little sorry for Mark though - he still seems completely taken in by Rob.
When robbie said he'd swap all he has for Gary's family life it made me cry. I can't help but feel sorry for him. He definately is misunderstood. But i LOVE take that now as a 4 peice, and I think Robbie joinging them would ruin them to be honest. Robbie belongs as a solo artist, and the other 4 belong together.
And when Gary says 'there's only 1 winner'
personally...i think it was and always will be Gary.
As a bloke i was never into take that but watching this was really interesting but the robbie/gary thing was just about egos money and drugs. They all have a place and the new albums are great.
I've just watched this documentary for the first time, after wanting to see it for a while, and I cryed. I am sorry to say, but I really dislike Robbie Williams. For him to say all those things about the other band members when he left, just shows how shalllow and gutless he is and was. I think it was good of him to apologise, but it doesn't really make up fot he things he did! I am so happy Gary's got his family, I think he is genuinly such a nice bloke. I LOVE TAKE THAT, as a four = perfect.
watched it for the first time all the way through, thanks for the upload..im 16, and a massive fan! i actually cried at the end haha! They should sooo stay as a 4 piece, they now have a new generation of fans along with my mums generation, for us, it wont seem right, Take That are Mark, Jason, Howard and Gary. Robbie is a different act. Plus, i am a fan of robbie (not as big as Take That) and i do feel sorry for him, but he doesnt deserve to join anyway. Luv Take That! plus there all PHWOAR!
Thank you so much for posting this, it was awesome! I've just read Gary's biography so it's really interesting to watch it and see Robbie's comments to them all and see that he did apologise for his actions.
Take That Split on year 1996.I was 16years old on that time.Really Sad,they do The Best On The World Industries, they got Good Ingredient for The Band. They are Huge Members,Amazing Music/Video/Tours,Great Stories, Fantastic Character, quite Different from the others Group,Creative,Classic Pose...
Everyone Playing They Part To Be No One Band.Love&Respect TT.
I don't have anything against Robbie, i'm a massive fan of both Take That and Robbie and i believe you can be both, you can see in this documentry though in Gary's eyes that he was hurt about the Robbie situation and he's said before he feels responsible. I don't think Gary is to blame, no one is. I think they're all alot older/wiser now and only in this last year or so has Robbie moved on more.
I just watched this documentary all the way through for the second time and I love it. Wonderful. I won't hear a bad word against Robbie, personally I would love to see him back with Take That and the day it happens will be a very happy one for me. I think he's hugely misunderstood, and I don't take any pleasure in the present state of his career, or the shit the press consistently write about him; but time out will do him the world of good. He will be back, and better than ever.
I do give much respect to Robbie for having the courage to even send them a message saying sorry. But at the end of the day,as much as i respect him, i think the damage is done and he can never go back. The lads are better off without him. They come back 10 years later and they still have the fans and fame. i think they do work best as a four piece.
i really dont think robbie would only want to come back for the limelight. i think he's learnt his lesson and genially wants to be mates with them again. i just dont think he's mentally ready to go back and i dont think the public are ready for him to go back. it would be nice though
Personally, i dont think Robbie shud come back. I think it would bring back too many bad memories for the band and i think they are doing amazing as they are now. Robbie might only want to join to get back in the limelight again. I love them as they are now.
It was take that who approached robbie rather than the otherway round so I don't think it's that I think they should bring him back eventually but i dunno how they would do it to get the public to go along with it.
i love the ending. i wish robbie had gone to the reuinion, they were clearly all very disappointed. but im sure they'll meet up some day i just hope robbie will be a bigger person and go find them.
im sad for robbie- i wish he did have what gary had, but it just shows that 14 brit awards and money doesnt make you happy.
I think they have to stay apart - they've got just the right mix now. He's better off alone - I think he'd cause all sorts of rifts if he came back. Besides ... its all talk anyway - we're safe in the knowledge that (thankfully) it'll never happen. I'm a bit sceptical about this 'new found' regained friendship too.
ill bet my house on him returning within 4months, they will be on stage doing there stuff an he'll all of a sudden come up in a lift from underneath or something. thats how it should be but personally...i dont give a fuck!
i wish robbie would have showed up-i would have loved to see what happened...all these rumours that he's rejoining the band-what does everyone think? I'm not too sure-the 4 of them are doing great
It makes me so sad to watch this, even knowing that they're all mates again now. Robbie may have had the solo success but Gary's the one that's happiest. Just proves that money doesn't make you happy.
Robbie looks really sad.....feel bad just watching that, this just shows what is really important in life when it comes down to it! i think robbie didnt turn up because he was ashaimed of how he behaved in the past...he was in a bad place at the time and just look what that show has brought! take that are better now than they ever were! hopefully robbie gets his happy ending too!
Robbie has a disease,he's depressive, that's a fact. Another fact: he's very very very talented and apparently a lot of people can't handle the thuth. Too bad!
This is amazing to watch knowing what we know now. It was the catalyst in their subsequent reunion and Robbie missed the boat, unfortunately for him as his pride still had the better of him...I wonder what the outcome would have been had he shown up...I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be preparing for their next major concert or returning from Paris having just promoted The Circus. Or would they...? AMAZING...
Wow, this documentary is really emotional, especially the last part, i was almost in tears when robbie was saying sorry to the band, it's such a shame that he didn't turn up even if he wasnt going to reform with them, but i think they're great on their own, and their latest songs prove it!
some happiness in himself and move on, and to be what he always wanted (although im sure he's already done that -.-)Oh sorry for the huge essay on this! I just think it's something we all need to think about. And maybe too much strong feelings for a 12 year old..? I dont know...AND ONE MORE THING.Gary you done everything right and you shouldnt be who your not, correct. :)
Mark is my babe as you all find out on my page, and Jay - mwah! Howie is munch!Love you all and so happy your back! <3 xxxxx
able to settle this "grudge" (haha!) against him from myself, but for now In my heart I'll always say that Gary should neverfeel "guilty of the way they handled things" because back then it seemed like the right thing to do and you should dismiss the past from your mistakes. Gary - top man, love him loads and utterly beautiful, mega talented and always loved. Robbie - national superstar, unhappy.. But i'll always have a place in my heart for Robbie and i wish him all the best and hope he finds
that everytime he talked about Gary, he always had a obvious smirk on his face when he talked about how he was better than Gary because everyone knew that was all he wanted. To be bigger and more famous than Barlow in the first place since the beginning.
And I just think that, like many other people, Robbie should really just grow up and move on, and its clear he still cant let go of the fact of how right Nigel was. I still hate Robbie 'cos of his attitude and ignorance, maybe one day i'll be
just never happy and never accepted the fact that he would never have what Gary had no matter how much he tried.
Yes, he had a brilliant career and I respect him for being a good performer but I'll always hold on to the fact that his career wouldnt be as it was if it wasn't for Take That AND for his songwriter Guy Chambers. Ever noticed that Angels (a beautiful song) was his first major hit because Chambers wrote it? It does make sense.
And it really angers me to watch this documentary and see
Right just watched all this through for the 4th time and I've reconsidered a couple of my thoughts from the first couple of views... For the people that seriously know me, I've always said that Robbie was just on and on about his ego, his fame, me myself and I, and I just genuinely thought he was a fool and I REALLY hated him for being what he was towards Gary and the rest of the guys because of his anger and how he couldnt adminish the fact the happiness H, J, M & G had now, whereas he just was
I always say its really funny when you see the boys walking away you can always tell which ones which even if they were all wearing suita that completly covered their faces and bodys. Mark would be the shortest one, Howard Would be the most muscular and Jason would be the one thats strutting down he street lool (I'm not taking the piss by the way. i love jason!)
Yeah!I think it's something about oasis, but I can't catch it up neither... I only understand that he apologyse for saying that Gaz wasn't a great songwritter...
Now I don't have enoguh time, but tomorrow I will listen to it carefully and try to understand what Rob says, and I will tell you, ok?
I'm not sure, but I've listened to this carefully, and I think he says something like: "Gaz,you're an amazing songwriter,I apologise for saying that you weren't.I had on my oust at that time and wants to be in Oasis.I apologise, you are an amazing songwritter, you have an amazing voice"
I think it's hard to catch up 'cause he doubts which word should he use,and he starts saying one but he stop to say another...
But I'm not sure,so if anyone knows for sure what he says, please post a comment. Thanks!
Never thought i would see Robbie Williams like this. I can't stop thinking about what he said: 'I would swop everything that i have for that', if i've understood it well he meant, that he wanted to swop/swap everything he had/achieved for to be happily married and have a kid.
Nigel is right about one thing: "who's really the happiest?' And, still, songs of robbie refer to how much pain, TT 'has given him.' I think he really needs help to really get over his emotional problems.
Wow, what a great documentary! I was a huge fan when I was younger, I even had the take that cake 8th birthday party!
It seems that Robbie is the only one who hasn't been able to heal the scars from that time and move on emotionally, which is really sad. I hope he manages to make peace with Gary, for his own sake...
Hi! I've been their fan for 14 years, and I do agree with you, Rob is the only one who hasn't been able to move on from that... But I think that now they have a better relationship, anf that makes me really glad...
Thanks for watching the documentary and for your comment!
Breautys, first of all: thanks!!I'm from Rio and i didn't have the chance to watch this amazing documentary until now.I just love Robbie and Take That...And by the way, we should take it easy on Robbie, apparently he's bipolar ...
Haven't yoy heard? It has been reported several times by media.Try some internet research and you will see. Bipolar Disorder is often associated with alcoholism and drug addiction...
No,I didn't heard anything...In Spain the only new we have about him is that he's doing a documentary about life in other planet...
I know what is the bipolar disorder,'cause I have a friend who is. Sometimes it's associated tu drugs, right, but no all the addicts are bipolar and not all the bipolars are addicts.
I asked my mom,'cause she's drug therapist and she told me that sometimes the durgs can cause the bipolar disorder and sometines it's the bipolar disorder that causes the addiction...
take that pulled in 7 million viewers for this programme...reason being they were-and still are-held with great affection by the public.i hope they stay around alot longer this time!
Gary's deep breathing and his eyes... that says it all, really.

I ll always defend Take That now after that
They all seem decant people.
They now belong as a 4 personaly. They are all comfetable together and they mix.
They are the type of thing that every british person should be proud to say they come from our country.I am :)

Finally the truth from Rob's mouth, nobody tell him to meet the others at the end of the documentary but only to leave a message. He said if I knew they wanted to mount this film like that I would never agree to do it. And he never want the Gary's life but only to be in a band again.

Gary would of had that sort of life with or without Take That....Robbie made his!!
patkurt09 2 years ago

LOS AMO TAKE THAT (L)
Strawberrymusique 2 years ago
Strawberrymusique 2 years ago
Strawberrymusique 2 years ago 2
Strawberrymusique 2 years ago
1°

'4.10' This scene is proof that Robbie is still an egocentrical twat who hasn't grown up. He still has head up his own arse. This is a horrible clip, (4.10). Straight after the bit with Gary and his little girl. Gary is more of a man than Robbie will ever be. You can tell that the most important thing in Gary's life is his family, whilst Robbie is still intent on getting his little jibes in where he can. Grow up Robbie!

I fucking love Take That, such talented and lovely blokes. Love Robbie too, he did the best thing by leaving for himself and for them.

Strange if he was so guilty.

robbie makes me sick. he was (and still is) so jealous of gary. gary was never out of ofder to robbie the first time. he was so high on drugs, must have been the paranoia kicking in!
their all talking again now, i hope to god take that dont let him back in again so he can ride on their sucess now that his career has gone down the pan. they are better now more than ever and have worked damn hard to get this far and i am so proud.
they say what comes around does around. there you go robbie.

Stephness91 3 years ago 5

I think they have to stay apart - they've got just the right mix now. He's better off alone - I think he'd cause all sorts of rifts if he came back. This is amazing to watch knowing what we know now. It was the catalyst in their subsequent reunion and Robbie missed the boat, unfortunately for him as his pride still had the better of him...I wonder what the outcome would have been had he shown up...I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be preparing for their next major concert or returning from Paris having just promoted The Circus. able to settle this "grudge" (haha!) against him from myself, but for now In my heart I'll always say that Gary should neverfeel "guilty of the way they handled things" because back then it seemed like the right thing to do and you should dismiss the past from your mistakes. Gary - top man, love him loads and utterly beautiful, mega talented and always loved. Robbie - national superstar, unhappy.. But i'll always have a place in my heart for Robbie and i wish him all the best and hope he finds
TakeThatURuleMyWorld 3 years ago 2
that everytime he talked about Gary, he always had a obvious smirk on his face when he talked about how he was better than Gary because everyone knew that was all he wanted. To be bigger and more famous than Barlow in the first place since the beginning.
And I just think that, like many other people, Robbie should really just grow up and move on, and its clear he still cant let go of the fact of how right Nigel was. I still hate Robbie 'cos of his attitude and ignorance, maybe one day i'll be
TakeThatURuleMyWorld 3 years ago 3
just never happy and never accepted the fact that he would never have what Gary had no matter how much he tried.
And it really angers me to watch this documentary and see
TakeThatURuleMyWorld 3 years ago 2
Right just watched all this through for the 4th time and I've reconsidered a couple of my thoughts from the first couple of views... For the people that seriously know me, I've always said that Robbie was just on and on about his ego, his fame, me myself and I, and I just genuinely thought he was a fool and I REALLY hated him for being what he was towards Gary and the rest of the guys because of his anger and how he couldnt adminish the fact the happiness H, J, M & G had now, whereas he just was

I asked my mom,'cause she's drug therapist and she told me that sometimes the durgs can cause the bipolar disorder and sometines it's the bipolar disorder that causes the addiction...
