  • What is the website

  • What color is it?

  • @czarevnah lol i get that alot too.....you must be from up north!!! me and ateyaa is from the same city! i didnt even notice her accent.....still dont haha ;-)

  • lol ur accent is hilarious !!

  • Women who rock wigs, sew-ins or clip-ins get my full respect until they act like the hair is naturally theirs. I make no judgements, but we all know a woman (or two) who goes from having 6" hair one month to having hair hanging down to her waist the next month and claims it's all hers. Honey, if you buy it, then it's yours, but do not act like it came from your follicles, LOL!

  • i dont know if you have a weave in right now taping this video...but it lloks nice regardless...I like how you mentioned that you wanted the hair becaus eyou didnt want to have to deal with it on vacations, especially...because a lot of people gte weave for whta i think are wrong reasons. I wish my fellow black women all felt as beautiful as they really are..straight long hair or short kinky hair...its unique either way.

  • Check out exotic hair importers! you can find them on facebook. there virgin indian hair is a good price and is the bomb.com

  • DO U HAVE ANY VIDEOS WEN U SHOW HOW U PUT IN DA HAIR

  • virgin hair is what they all say

    but i this style

  • Hi, this coming fall I will be getting my first weave. Does anyone have any places that I can go to online, to purchase hair for a reasonable price..?

  • is one bundle enough for a full sew in?

  • @Wocky741 Depends on how large your head is. Some people need 1, 2 is the average, some people may even need 3 packs.

  • What is the diffrence between virgin and human hair

  • @HateMillions Its the same thing. Virgin human hair is human hair that's unprocessed by chemicals, dyes and anything that can alter it.

  • isnt virgin indian hair human hair?

  • @nayvidss: Yes the Virgin Indian hair is human hair. I think the difference is, most human hair you buy one the market is processed and the virgin Indian hair is not.

  • how do you wash it? like you nornally wash hair? i know nothing about weaves and extensions, sorry.

  • what's the difference between real hair and "virgin" indian hair? i thought that was real hair. oh i'm so confused because i've been on too many channels. what we have to do for hair is so unfair. God should have just given us nice hair naturally. lol

  • @WTF200009: HE DID...

  • @faynadia and @cheezinspector. Totally agree with u both.

  • @MzSiddiqui. U couldn't have said it better

  • Gosh, when will Black women start wearing Black hair?

  • @CheezInspector What are you even talking about? It doesn't matter where you get your hair from. It depends on the hair texture you want and no one's hair is special. Hair is hair, it's not like we're talking about skin or genetics because just as there are Blacks with NATURAL straight hair, there are White people with NATURAL NAPPY/KINKY hair. So, do your homework before you make an ignorant comment.

  • @Dark0Malkavian, no, you have it wrong. The only Black people who have naturally straight hair are mixed w/Caucasian or Asian ancestry. For ex, Ethiopians, Eritreans and Moroccans are situated close to non-African regions and much race-mixing has occurred over millennia to account for their straight locks. Pure Africans don't have straight hair.

  • @CheezInspector That's nonsense and those are all countries IN Africa, so you're telling me that every single man and woman in those countries aren't African? And what about Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Madagascar, Cameroon, etc...? There's many Africans with straight hair, just as there are Caucasians with thick and coarse hair. One of my close friends is Irish and her hair is thicker and more coarse than mine, if not heavily treated.

  • @Dark0Malkavian, you misunderstood. I'm saying that all those Northern African countries (Egypt, Morocco, Ethiopi, etc.) are located near non-African countries (Spain, Italy, Turkey, Yemen ... ), and the people there look so different from other Africans because of the racial admixtures that have resulted. This is an anthropological fact backed by genetic science.

  • @CheezInspector I get what you're saying but that's just the natural evolution because of their location, it has nothing to do with the surrounding countries. People at the equator have thicker and more coarse hair because it needs to be to protect their scalps from the sun, while as you get further away, the hair gets thinner because not as much protection is needed. It has nothing to do with countries, so its the same thing as skin color.

  • @CheezInspector: A lot of Black women wear their black hair. You're probably not around that many. A lot around me have gone as far as locking them (Dredlocks) Some wear it in cute Afros with a headband. WHITE WOMEN (especially celebrities) Wear Weaves all the time....they just lie about it a lot and claim it as their real hair FOOLING A LOT OF GUYS. They hardly wear their real hair. THE THING WITH Black Women is that they are proud of wearing weaves. *IT'S A STYLE worn by women of all races!*

  • @mybrownb, where do you live (general area) that a lot of African women are wearing fros? Yeah you're right: some White women wear weaves but the weaves they wear generally match the texture of their natural Caucasian hair. A much larger portion of Black women have weaves, but have non-African textured weaves. I lived in Oakland for quite some time (until recently) and as liberal as our MOSTLY African community was/is, spotting a fro was about as likely as spotting a UFO in the sky.

  • @CheezInspector: NOT SOME WHITE WOMEN .....'A LOT'…MORE THAN YOU KNOW. When it's professionally done on anyone (Black or White) it looks natural. MAYBE YOU DON’T SEE IT MUCH WHERE YOU LIVE. (A lot of DO-IT-YOURSELF jobs perhaps or Inexperienced Hairdresser)

I live in Miami, Florida. I'm around the Naturals as well as the Chemical processed. SORRY YOU'RE NOT AROUND A LOT OF African American Women who wear their hair naturally, BUT I AM.

  • @CheezInspector: I'm around it all...From Dred Locks, to Natural Braids(not extensions) to a Fro. (Yes a few wear it in a fro, pulled back with a headband if they don't blow dry it straight). I AM ALSO AROUND A LOT OF CAUCASIAN & HISPANIC WOMEN WHO WEAR HAIR WEAVES (Some Very Unnatural Looking)...AND PROCESS THEIR NATURAL CURLY HAIR-no they're not bi-racial. I GUESS WE CAN ONLY SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE... I am so happy that I grew up around all races. I don't have a problem with anyone.

  • @mybrownb, well you sure aren't at a loss for words LOL ... You're right that there are ppl of various backgrounds that partake in the weave thing. But my point is that Black women wear them FAR more often than the women in other cultures. It's really obvious and when I was a cosmetologist (before going back to college) I saw this trend up close. We have something in common: we both grew up around ppl of all backgrounds. And we need more ppl like you who don't have a race problem. ;)

  • Indian women don't understand the concept of weaves THEREFORE not having the knowledge or time to look @ black women lowly but that speaks volumes of what u think of us....ANYWAY Keep up the good work Ateyaaaaaa!! Muah! Muah! Muah!

  • what do you do for a living

  • people should be able to wear their hair how ever they wount without being judged

  • my friend is ordering this right now

    your hair looks great

    and that hair looks great

I cant wait 2 see my friend after she gets her hair done,

    from Janet thanks

  • And your point is.? lolz

  • ohhh woww

  • I Love it. you will never go back to CHEAP BEAUTY SUPPLY HAIR. I HAVE 20AND 22INCHES

  • Missmiko was it enough hair for a sew in 20 and 22

  • I really like the wig your wearing in this video can please let me know the info so I can get it Thanks :)

  • Have you tried any other vendors besides indian hair co?

  • have you tried any other vendors besides indianhair company.

  • Can you give the instructions on how to take care of hair that you were reading at 2:33 ?

  • This video is so important because it truely explains what "virgin" hair really is. I went to my local korean beauty shop and they tried to sell me "Indian Remy" for $149 a bag, I told them that wasnt "virgin" hair and walked out the door!!

  • Dam i ordered mi hair through them and i didn get that same lil card that you got...that's so messed up :(

  • It is not just Black women but, many Caucasian, Asian, and Latino women that wear weaves. If you are going to say anything about black women wearing them then you should mention the other races also. Many black women are not ashamed to say that they wear weaves and there is nothing wrong with wanting to change up ones hair. It has nothing to do with respect either. You should really listen to what she said about giving her hair some rest because black hair is more fragile then others.

  • In actuality it is to the same extent. I see plenty of Caucasian women coming into salons asking for Paris Hilton weaves. Another thing is that just because a black woman wears fake hair it does not mean that they are unhappy with themselves. Granted there are some black women that wear fake hair because they wish they had different hair but not all. I tell you what. Every woman should stop dying thier hair and getting fake nails too, as well as stop putting on makeup since it is all fake too.

  • No way, it is no where near the same extent. You see african americans with relaxed hair or weaves much more often than caucasion women with weaves or extensions in everyday life. But thats not the point. I'm not against the occasional use of weaves/ extensions, fake nails, makeup etc. But there should be a limit to everything. Weaves are expensive! And getting hair relaxed is just plain bad for your hair.

  • Chemically curling or perming ones hair is also very bad, as well as putting any heat on. Chemically bleaching hair is bad too and I see that a lot. Why can't some people just be happy without being blonde? I do agree that relaxers are bad for black hair but who am I to make judgments or assumptions. You do not know that more black women wear weaves because you have never set down with every black woman or white woman and asked so please do not assume. It is more public for blacks then others.

  • With Black women hair has been a double edged sword. I'm tried of hear people object to Black beauty. We have to deal with people looking at us funny if we wear our hair in it's natural state or if we wear a long weave or even braids. This kind of stuff wideness the gap. As a black woman, I'm saying now more. I tried of see black woman have to always explain these things. It's ignorant and people don't care. I feel as if the time is now for black women to start having to be slaves to ignorance.

  • I happen to think natural hair is beautiful though. And you should too.

  • And I agree that natural hair is very beautiful. However, again, I bring up the subject of convenience. A lot of women wear fake hair due to convenience and not wanting to manipulate their natural hair. Everyone has their own preference and you are entitled to yours just as everyone on here is entitled to theirs. So long as it looks presentable and well-done, I cannot complain.

  • I think women should be able to wear their hair how they want. As you can see, Ateeya has long, beautiful hair yet she wears weaves because she's like the convenience. I am the same way. Those who have a problem with it tend to either be those who know nothing about why WOMEN, in general, wears wigs or weaves and they probably don't know much about why hair is such a big deal in the AA community. Let ppl do as they please. It's not that serious.

  • maybe black people have more money than white ppl . stop hating, if we wanna wear tracks we will...miley cyrus and all them other white ppl do it...dont make it seem lik black women are the only ones.............loser. good video ateyaa ! love u!!

  • Well its really not fair to compare this is other races because other races have not been indoctrinated to believe that something is wrong with their hair like African Americans have. You forgot that African Americans are the only people who have been robbed of their Origin...no to get to deep on ya but the history has a lot do with the way we value whats been given to us naturally. The good thing is that more and more African American women are realizing the beauty in their own natural hair.

  • @ MizSiddiqui preach on!!! Amen!!!

  • Just because someone wears a weave or a wig does not mean they do not respect themself. Thats first of all, and secondly... some women do not take care of their hair so they use weave to cover up damaged hair (Ateeya is not an example, btw). And things are easier said than done, so you should write about what you know. If you understood maybe you could comment.

  • If you answered your own question by saying some use it as a switch why even ask the question. They can do what they want it's not like they're tying you down and shaving your head to make a weave.

  • can you do a video about synthetic hair ??

    thanks !!

  • do you recommend buying 2 bags?

I'm just 16 and don't really have enough money to get 2 bags of 18in. I was thinking of getting 1 bag of 18in then if I need to another bag of a 12in or 14in. Will it look really choppy? and this will be my first sew in ^^

  • lots of people get 18 inches in the front and 16 inches in the back. It doesn't look choppy because it evens out to be the same length.

  • did you use most out of the second bag because i am torn if i should but 2 bags. the style that i want is just bands in the front with layers im thinking about buying the 16 inch. im 17yrs old and i think i have a regular size head lol but i have very thick hair

    please reply

  • Depending on how full u like ur weaves (I like mine full but not wiggish lookin lol) 2bags is recommended altho u'll only use about 1/4of the 2nd bag tht's fine cuz u'll b sure 2have enuff hair leftover 4future hairdos if u want sumthn natural then 1bag's enuff hope this helps :)

  • nugrow actually works?

  • Yup lol :)

  • 5656

  • ateeya, do you still relax your hair with your indian hair on your head?

  • Yes I relaxed just the top part...when I got my 2nd cut w.layers

  • what kind of half wig is this that youre wearing? its so pretty

  • Wow! you did this vid in march and its all in motion now!! time goes fast huh?!

  • Hey does the indian hair come as fusion weave as well?

  • what half wig are you wearing in this vid?

  • what wig are you wearing? it looks group.

  • Go Ateyaaa! Go Ateyaaa! WE LUV YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will YALL stop making everything a race issue...sometimes its not the issue/topic its the person presenting it!

  • when you ordered your weave did u pick the micro thin weft?

  • I say, "do what you gotta do." But, so many women (all colors) are knockin' themselves out and I think you're all gorgeous the way you arrived in the world.

  • UNH,UNH...Alright

  • I honestly dnt understand wat the issue is wit wat she chooses 2do wit her hard-earned money. Nobody knws any personal info on her (like "she lives in an apt... yet buys $300hair-go figure" no ur jus mad cuz u cnt afford 2buy it like she can its betta 2invest n good hair than reg bss hair like most of us black women r used 2&end up lookin a hot mess within a few wks so if she wanna buy sum Indian "sacrificed" hair then so b it she still looks fierce

  • oh yeah i hope you sealed the wefts as well.........or it could turn into a HOT SHEDDIN MESS!

  • Indian hair is the best!!! I always use it on my clients and it blends really well!

I always order from Indian Hair Company and I am glad you did too Ateya cause it's soooooo worth it! You look great and I love the way your hair turned out in your other videos!

  • what is the name of the wig you have on that really looks natural with your own hair im getting married in July and think this would be a great bridal look for me. thanks keep up the good work.

  • i luv u 4 trying new products and sharing it with us b/c a lot of times i miss out on this stuff b/c theres so many new things coming out every single day even if its been out 4 a long time to me its new. also u know i have problems with my hair and i would like to use a product that will help benefit my hair and virgin hair will definitely do that 4 me since its not processed hair. THANKS GIRL; )

  • stop worrying about your hair, girl. you are a beautiful person. let your soul shine. jesus loves you.

  • What a constructive argument! You must be so smart :)

  • you have no right to be sayng that cause she put her time in making these videos for us to watch And why would she lie For you saying that You ARE A HATER!!!!!!! BITCH

  • I don't see how I'm a hater for being Bangladeshi. Your argument makes no sense. I said nothing about lying. Where are you getting that from? I think people should work with what God gave them, no matter what their ethnicity.

  • I think you need to understand the reason as to why women (black women) invest in hair. I know people hate to admit it but t goes back to our self worth due to slavery. We were made to feel worthless and because of this cloud over our heads we do what people may consider minor things to make ourselves feel better. Now if you more info I will be willing to explain further. No arguiing just to adults talking.

  • If you have a problem with me (which you can't because you don't know me), message me yourself and don't make a funk on people's video comments.

  • Seriously guys, I'm not hatin on anyone-- I think people need to love whatever hair they have naturally. I mean seriously, there are people out there without limbs and you're talkin about wearing other people's hair? It's not logical (or ethical, for that matter) by any stretch of the imagination.

  • I dont believe you're hating you just don't know any better. It's not done out of disrespect -

  • Very, very true.

  • white woman wear weaves also..ateyaa keeps her hair healthy so its ok to wear a weave just as long as your real hair is very healthy..so get off the race thing..it has nothing to do with race...

  • The other day I saw someone without a limb rocking a hair weave. They had one leg but a nice hair weave, true story.

  • WHAT!!!!!

  • Thanks Ateya...I'm in limbo right now. For the past 3 yrs I've bought Remy Velvet and I think I'm going to make the move to buy the Indian Hair. Right now I'm sitting at work wearing a cap because the hair has gotten matted. This is the 3rd time it has happened. So I'm going to break down & invest. Im in the Irvine, CA area which is PERFECT!!! Your vid was so helpful and some of your comments as well.

  • You Are So Pretty.

  • how many times can you reuse that hair ?

  • I've bee in Detroit for 6yrs and honestly, you can find Virgin Indian hair at various prices...HOWEVER! i went to Phoenix and found THE VERY SAME Virgin Indian hair for $60 bundle (4oz) at 12-14"...I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!! The name of the store is called "Sunny's Beauty Supply" 480-491-7930...the last time I checked on the starting price was a few months ago in October 2008...hope this helps ya'll !!

  • ur half wig is real cute at the end of this video wat half wig are u wearing!!!???????

  • good hair

  • Lovely hair!

  • Hey Ateyaa I know it will be beautiful. Just be careful with getting a relaxer before a sew in because the relaxer can weaken your hair and cause it to break and thin out from the pulling of the braids. Love You Girly:)

  • When are you taking a trip to Tampa, FL?

  • Hey Lady, I've worn indian virgin hair. It's very easy to manage. Mine came slightly wavey in the package and it was $75 per pack. I cut it in layers, wet it (no product needed) and it slightly spirled out. Looked just my own hair. I was able to straighten and curl it ..everything. Was amazing. I was able to wear twice since it was easy to take care of . Just remember to keep it clean & conditioned. I hope you love it too.

  • WILL U MARRY ME

  • I cant wait to check you out next week. I gotta keep the hollywood and superstar look (lol)

  • I love you ateya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • super weave platinum

  • Oh my God! It is just hair and what she does with her own hard earned money is her business. I know people are intitled to their own opinion, but she can do what she want with her money. Yall just mad because yall cant afford to buy it. Girl go head with your bad self. Do what do ma!

  • check wagmans you can get 8 oz for the price i thinkk u paid for 4

  • 159.00 for 4oz which is 1 bad! thats wayy too much!!!! you could get virgin hair..top of the line foe cheaper!!!! there are tons of companies that overcharge!!! for that pricei get a whole pound...which is 16 oz of hair!!!

  • Ateya!

I don't know about you, but I loooove HATERS, they make me giggle:)!

    Stay blessed Diva!

  • I love ur makeup here! n ur hair :P

  • You should be concerned with yourself and how you spend your money, really....

  • why the hell does it matter to you (yhaveu4) HATERS CAN'T LIVE WITH THEM CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM.

  • check out the im on a boat remix on my page

  • Comment removed

  • I like most of your videos but honey you are going backwards not forward in haircare. In these hard times I doubt if I would spend that much on hair from another race of people. Indian/ China gee I wonder if they are buying Black people hair to put on their heads. Take that money and give it to someone in danger of losing their lights or home. Better yet save it for a rainy day because a storm is coming very soon. I love you anyway girl.

  • All i know is that virgin indian hair comes from the head of an young girl. the tracks are double wefted to reduce shedding and the cuticles are all facing the same direction. also when you wet it, it becomes curly, but you can straighten it. Good luck, Ateeya! I know it's gonna look supa fly on your head!

  • your eyebrows look good

  • Do you plan on re-using it?

Because the only way that I'd buy it is if I can re-use it.

  • newbie

  • If u get the latest ALLURE magazine it has a great article in there about how this hair is the way it is..It's a fantastic article...Hope those Indian women can grow their h air super fast though..Some of the women in the piece were shocked at what their hair was actually used for..but some didn't care..Read it..it's very informative..

  • fab

  • IV Hair isn't new. Actually what's more natural looking on Black people is Chinese Virgin Hair. The texture is straight, but not so super straight that it looks unbelievable.

  • that Mary Kay looks good on your skin!

  • Wow that hair looks amazing! I can't wait until Saturday! I want to see!! But are you going to show your hair before and after your perm? I want to see how the NUGRO worked out for you. I got mine in the mail!

  • Welcome to the Indian Hair side!! Once you have it you wont touch BSS hair again! Yes, it's reusable but I always want to try something new so I stash it and get more (diff textures, lengths). Right now I'm wearing Laniks Virgin Wavy 20" & a clousure from Senghori Shells... I'm in love........ Enjoy your virgin hair!

    XoXo ~ Kendall

  • I love indian hair, once you go indian there is no looking back at beauty store hair.I didn't pay that much for mines per pack.I can't wait to see your install.

  • I am a little concerned about the sew-in Tee because of what happened last time. I am glad you are going to watch it this time! I can't wait to see the results. I would suggest that you wait a few weeks after the relaxer before you weave but of course it's up to you babe :)

  • yea out here in cali we all wearin that hair you can buy it by the ounce or by the bag, we use capelli a lot out here....virgin hair is the best, its a little cheaper out here because its all that we wear but yea ive been on it for years once you go indian u wont go back and the reason yours is so expensive i believe u ordered what we call a curly weave you can get it straight and its cheaper and its still virgin

  • Yeah my girl turned me on to that over 2 years ago thats all she wears and she always looks stunning. and the quality is so much better. Way to upgrade yourself Atteya you be bringing it on youtube. Werkkkkkkkk.

  • Yes Yes Ateyaa! I love Virgin indian hair! I am in NYC where there are some underground places I go to get my hair making it a little cheaper for me. For 10ounces: 2 packs it was 210. You will love this hair, especially when you get in the shower and see how nice the hair feels. It is so great! Enjoy! I did!

P.S. Have you ever tried clip-in extensions? If so, do you like them? Are they comfortable?

  • I tried clip in... AH NOO!! I worried the entire day about it!! Its almost like having a loose half wig ya know?? Anyways good luck if u do try them. Tell me how they work out for you!!

    Blessing... Kay

  • Ateya, are you wearing a half or full wig inm this video b/c your hair here is pretty? What kind of hair are you wearing?
