I haven't read any slash involving you or anyone you know, ed, but the amount people go on about it - and bear in mind I only hear about it through you guys ;) - I'm really tempted to check it out!
Just an idea but you've missed two days, (okay you could technically could post one today, you have four hours until the end of friday Pacific time) so I was thinking about the possiblity of a punishment? (I've been watching too much vlogbrothers) Personally I was thinking about you singing a random disney song, one of your choice I guess since it's not that big of an offence.
Can I just clarify that slash isn't "characters going against their natural sexual attraction" (a lot of the time, the sexual orientation of a character isn't explicitly stated, we just assume they're straight because that's the norm in TV/movies). Slash is defined as "a pairing with two characters of the same sex".
I am, however, talking about TV/Movie type fanfiction... but I guess you're talking about real-person fanfiction. I'm sorry if my comment sounded like an attack (first of all). And second, I think it might just be the phrase "going against their natural sexual attraction" rubbing me the wrong way.
You're very calm and levelheaded about the whole thing, which already makes you better than a lot of other people who reaction to YouTube slash. Thanks for being awesome. <3

So many people are completely and utterly ignorant and spiteful about #y_slash and it's so ridiculously annoying. I'm sure as someone who puts himself up for display on the internet as a musician and vlogger, you know how tiresome dealing with that can be.

"people acting against they're natural sexual tendencies" Eddplant, I always thought it referred to male homosexuality. Do we just define it differently, or do believe homosexuality is 'unnatural'?
@GONEmypurpleflapjack he said their natural tendencies. he just meant specific people acting against what they would normally do sexually. for example, instead of one person who is straight in real life they are written so they're bisexual. he's not saying homosexuality is unnatural.

As a slasher...I think it's totally awesome that you read youtube slash. I've written a few, one of which I know Tom read, and it was a big fiasco of awkwardness. It's good that you're open minded about the whole thing, though. A lot of people aren't.
this is a good vlog :) specially since I used to slash xP i don't anymore in case you're wondering. I prefer fictional characters to having to characterise real people just from the little I know of them.

I mean, you can't really stop fans from writing it can you?
(In my honest opinion, I find it odd that people write it about real people and not just make up fictional characters but then again it's not being written about me.)
