Story: Luke does not want to kill Vader. Sidious then talks him into doing it and joining the Dark Side. When he realizes that Luke has chosen to kill Vader and join him, he laughs and walks away triumphantly. Luke then uses the Force to lift Vader off his feet as the horrified former Dark Lord emits a weak, muffled scream. Luke slashes Vader across the torso with his lightsaber, killing him instantly.
