He has soul and LA Reed should of never took that girl's (sorry her name escapes me) advice because Brennin IS A STAR... @MrSmackdown100 I agree, I have caught on to Simon since the early years of American Idol. He knows what he's doing and looks for certain things in contestants. He also is good at spotting the winner before they even win. People need to realize it was not Simon who sent Brennin packing it was L.A. Even if

Simon played a hand in sending him home, he has a logical reason behind it.

Listen, these people aren't superstars yet and his attitude, along with the kid rapper, are so absolutely terrible I don't care what talent they have. They need to be eating humble pie--bigtime. Last season on idol two very talented kids didn't get too far because America won't tolerate that at all. Incidentally... 200 lbs for a man is oftentimes nothing, I don't consider that a struggle. He'll be gone soon, mark my words.

He has spoken to me and he is very nice and humble. don't let the editors for the show influence you. remember, they pick and choose how they want a person to be portrayed for entertainment purposes.

Scripted!! What :30 seconds of actual singing is enough to tell the song isn't a good version? Fact is he could have sang it in AK's version and his vocals wouldn't have changed. Only thing that changed was the time signature and style.

I was at the bootcamp performance & saw Brennin perform the whole song. Yes, Simon stopped him, but he started over, completed the song....and owned it. He was the BEST of the first session. He even got a standing O for the entire audience, and there were only a small handle of those in the 33 performances I saw.

During the editing process they can make the scene whatever they want it to be, and make you whoever they want you to be.

@blkeener Yes, they can. It's called TV. It's not real. It's a show. It's THEIR show. I'm sure he's thrilled to take whatever air time X-Factor is willing to give him & be portrayed however they choose to do so. That's part of being in the business & any mature performer is saavy to that fact. Nobody complains about the editing/character/realism decisions in Star Trek, but when it comes to the WWE, Idol or X Factor suddenly everyone gets unrealistic expectations about "realism". It's a SHOW
