This documentary tells us what great humanitarians the Morgenthau's were. I was not aware of Morgenthau Sr.'s career. Apparently the father's ideals didn't rub off on his son Henry Morgenthau Jr., secretary of the treasury during WW II and author of the "Morgenthau Plan" which put forth a plan for the post war complete destruction and removal of German industry which would have killed an estimated 10 million Germans after the war was over. This plan got serious consideration.
