Actually, the thing on Kasagami's back is called a "Standard." If I remember correctly, people from the old times -In B.C.- who fought in wars had small little groups who followed the same flag, or "Standard." My 8th grade history book provided me with this knowledge, though.

Sorry to point this out. That is not the first Chimera in this game. The Bud Ogre was first. (Chimera is also a class of enemy in this game, though that enemy is just called a Chimera too). So, if you weren't referring to the class Chugga, it's a nice tidbit of information nonetheless.

An angient japanese myth says that Amaterasu was born from the left eye of Izanagi. She became the goddess of sun, and so she was said to glow bright light. Amaterasu's siblings were the god of moon, Tsukiyomi and god of storm, Susano'o.. At the beginning of the battle against a Chimera. If you place a Cherry Bomb before the Chimera touchs the floor, the explosion will knock down the monster and you will be able to hit a lot of times and finish it faster.
