Actually, Christmas Day was rather cold and wet this year! Bondi Beach is very over-rated and there are other beaches that are SO much nicer, eg Cronulla, Maroubra, Collaroy, Palm Beach. Also, the most gorgeous beaches in Australia, in my opinion, are the pure, white sanded beaches of Jervis Bay where there are huge pods of resident dolphins and pristine, turquoise waters. Outside of the Christmas period, in Boderee National Park, you could be the ONLY person sitting in this paradise all day
