  • You are being cruel MrAgm65 LOL but seriously these are 4 cracking girls singing a totally underestimated song IMO, despite the clothes and hairstyles they were a breath of fresh air to the music scene at the time, along with Pans People :)

  • @MrSkullover13 the nolans are irish, but moved to blackpool england while the girls were at a young age. the oldest Anne(born 1950) was 13 at the time, while the youngest Bernadette was just 3. Five sisters in all.

  • @jameshayden69 ;James, the Nolan sisters were ,in fact,6 girls-Anne,Denise,Maureen,Linda,Bernadette and little coleen. You can view them ,here on YT-doing Idont know why I love you but I do,on the cliff Richard show, with little Coleen on lead.

  • @SuperJohnnykay yeah your right, i totally forgot about Coleen ! the chopping and changing in the Nolans line up added to my confusion. She was there when they scored the big hits though so i should of remembered. Thanks for putting the record straight!

  • @jameshayden69 :Great stuff,James! In this vid,we have Maureen, considered the best looking of the sisters,Bernie, with the best vocal ability,The lovable Linda and of course, the baby,Coleen.Denise had left for good,by 1980.Anne was away, she came back in 2 yrs later and there is a YT vid of them some yrs later, performing in Bournemouth.Have you checked this out?Tonight, were gonna run for our lives; If anyone doubted that these girls werent gifted and talented, they need to watch that one,jk

  • Maureen is absolutely timeless! She amazingly still looks the same now as when she started nearly 40 years ago.

wasn't she the only original nolan in the end?
