  • Toy Love forever! This is rubbish!

  • @Manuhashidate Yeah Toy Love are 1 of the best NZ bands ever but I dunno if you realize how special this gig was since he's still recovering from a massive stroke and he can't talk etc.

  • This guy is a legend. In my book the best NZ musician, best song writer and without doubt best live performer I've ever seen anywhere. What a riveting performance here from someone who has had a stroke which has caused limited speech. This guy is gutsy. Check out Chris's albums if you haven't heard any yet - they are wickedly good. I just bought the album "Stroke" with a bunch of artists from around the world playing his songs and all proceeds go towards Chris's recovery.

  • Yeah can't argue with you there.I've got pretty much nearly everything Knox has done and with a few Tall Dwarfs spares if you wanna buy any.

  • @catapult67 ..If I had a dollar for every time someone told me Chris Knox had a stroke, I'd have $10! In the first weeks in 2009, the NZ Herald turned all gushy & morphed into the 'Chris Knox appreciation society' - I told a Kiwi girl that her ex-boyfriend's got HIV and her response was 'have you heard about Chris Knox'. My ex-girlfriend totally ignored my own new physical foibles, which are debilitating, instead asking 'have you heard about Chris Knox' !

    So, yeah... I phucking know!

  • @Manuhashidate Strange you feel this way,oh well all good.Maybe you should stick to your Greg Johnson CD's.
