I think his voice rocks the fuck outa this song. My only critique is the tempo...kept wanting to hear it pick up a little. Still an awesome cover and my love for Brett will never die.

In keeping with the song's lyrics, I admire Brett's dedication to the performance, whether with a backing band or solo (as demonstrated many times) he is gutsy and himself-always. This is a number of years old now, much younger. Love examples of his songwriting from past to present.

I thought his voice sounded like Tom Petty and now I found this cover he did. I still think he sounds like Tom but the same timing isn't there. It is a great cover. I just found out about Brett Dennen and looking forward to catching up to the rest of y'all
