  • I wonder if this could take down someone on PCP

  • I can't wait to see videos of the X3 in action. I've never done stupid shit like you see these assholes on TV do. Triple the fun!! If they can lodge 3 of these into one idiot (male or female) & have them wiggling around, I'll give it two thumbs up! I've never watched a Reality show yet but if they have one called 'America's greatest X3 Tases' I'll watch.

  • i am in law enforcment and the taser isn"t that bad. I have been shot with it and it is a very effective tool.

  • @knpnbp08

about 60% of police are just thugs in uniforms they like that a badge makes their little penises feel big

  • fuck you

  • You look like you are either gonna cry or need to take a shit threwout the whole video.

  • Voglio comprare TASERX3 come devo fare???

  • Someone who uses a shotgun deployed taser is on the wrong side of the line? WTF?

I don't understand the mindset of people who think tasers are overkill. So you rather the suspect be shot with a run, or hit with a baton a bunch of times? Not to mention this saves money since the officers and suspects aren't getting hurt as much due to taser deployment.

  • @rally123321 He was talking about the cop on the poster who has the Taser Shotgun. So he said i probably would not condone shooting a guy (cop on poster or real cop) with a taser shotgun. Although if you dont pay attention it does sound like he is talking about using a taser on someone.

  • for all this is overkill, victim types. a 10mm handgun is overkill...an atomic bomb, is overkill.

i believe in using the judicial system...but this is what i don't get about so many people. would you prefer that law enforcement don't carry? just put criminals in time out...or better yet...reason with a gun toting bad guy? just give them mag lights. better yet, let the public handle it all by themselves...oh but, you can't own a gun/weapon either.

i wonder...what would that look like.

  • but people now i have a quistion? it seems to look that the one on the bottum shoots you in THE NUTS:o:o ore isnt??????? whahahhahahah peace

  • fuck that shit! that is soooo overkill

  • The last comment made in this video is idiotic. What a fool !

  • everyone who thinks the taser is a replacement for a gun read this.

The taser is not a replacement for a gun, it is a compliance tool. A COMPLIANCE TOOL! Police officers are trained so that if a person comes at them with a deadly weapon they will draw their gun and shoot them, not tase them. The officer doesn't want the chance of the guy being able to still come after him/her. So if you shoot them they won't come after you anymore.

  • being as this is a sissy looking Taser, and it might incapacitate you briefly, youve got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky?

I would like to meet the guy who stood up to 3 violent miscreants with this thing. Just use the baton like a man, and if that is insufficient use a gun.

  • "Briefly" is relative. All you have to do is continue to hold the trigger and you can hold the suspect(s) indefinitely. After ten seconds on that thing, NOBODY will want to keep fighting (trust me, if you haven't rode the lightning, you wouldn't understand). If they do continue to aggress, just pull the trigger again and repeat. Afterward, they will be able to get up and walk away, unlike your baton example (remember Rodney King?)

  • this is a good instructional video in case you need to defend yourself with one of these against a violent officer

  • dont taze me bro...

  • Next time you do an interview with something of this sort, use a guy that is a little more of a badass to do the interview.

  • Agreed.

  • Dude. Thats just scary if I get tased by that. lol

  • @ Engadget. Hey go get a review of taser's new wearable computer system they just announced... srsly DO WANT.

Re: Taser's product. I support it, knowing first hand what the effects of "the ride" are. The fall from being tased is by far the most dangerous part, which is much more than can be said for pepper spray, batons, and every other less lethal force option.

  • reminds me of Judge Dredd's law giver...

  • domestic weapons of the future.

no need for guns, with the chances of killing someone.

  • I hate to bring it to you, but people have actually died from taser shots. It is a less-lethal weapon, not a non-lethal.

  • yeah sucks if you got a pacemaker, hahaha.

  • in correct sir, taser has been researched not to interfere with a pacemaker. look it up.

  • now i don't have to look it up.

  • which i had no intention to do anyways..

  • did they die from the taser or the copious amount of narcotics in their system?

  • Tasers can kill and that's the danger cops fire them off to easily because everyone thinks of them so harmless

  • according to whom? Of what research are you basing this off? Not a single death has been attributed to the use of a taser. It was the deadly mix of illicit drugs in their system that caused their heart to stop. In thise cases, the taser was not a contributing factor.

  • A man was killed near where I live by a X26 Taser. He was not on any drugs nor was there any alcohol in his body. He was however, mentally unstable. The taser shot shouldn't have killed him, but it did. They are dangerous if used improperly. I'm not saying they shouldn't be used, I'm totally for use of the taser. However, the situation must require a gun before this weapon is deployed. Thats how officers are trained.

  • @Msyticair

You obviously DON'T know how officers are training. If the situation requires a gun to be drawn, then the gun is drawn. It's not a choice for the officer. The tazer is not considered deadly force. If someone pulls a gun on an officer, the officer better not pull out a taser!!

  • @Msyticair - That is not true. If a gun is required.... then you use your gun. The Taser falls much lower on the force continuum than a firearm. Training dictates that you use the minimum amount of force necessary to overcome the force being used by the suspect. You don't go against a lethal threat, with non lethal force. Tasers can fail, I'm speaking from experience. They are not a guaranteed fight ender, but neither is a gun for that matter. Still I'd trust my life to my Glock before my Taser.

  • Next time you see a cop ask him if he had a choice between a taser and a gun which would he choose.

    Don't be so foolish.

  • disgusting

  • why

  • just the police abuse factor. probably not a bad thing for private individuals.

  • ??what police abuse factor?

They will use it under the same circumstance as a gun

  • So a citizen abusing a taser is better?

  • police should use methods to de-escalate situations, not default to using the taser

  • Your statement is true but it dosent apply. De-escalation methods are ALWAYS employed. Just because you saw some grainy, shakey, edited youtube video with ultra biased and inflamatory remarks does not qualify you to make such a global statement. No would I be qualified to remark on proper Tig welding procedures.

People should put their money where ther mouth is. Law enforcement is always hiring.

  • Huh??? So street justice is better? Street beat-downs by citizens are far worse (and infinitely more common)than anything the police have done.

  • TRUE BUT SOME COPS GET A LIL TOO HAPPY

  • Why focus on the cops? Why dont you spend your time villifying the murderers, child molesters, rapists, drug dealers, etc.? Cops walk down the alleyways at 3:00 am and confront those turds that you and I avoid at all cost. Go to the anarchist websites that promote a society with NO LAW and ORDER whatsoever and harass them. Could you imagine if they ran things? Dude, we got it good! Status Quo I say. Try looking at every other country on this planet. Count your lucky stars that you were born here

  • I disagree. I understand where you're coming from. BUT, if someone brakes in your house, they certainly DON'T have your best interest at heart, and at that point -- it's fair game. Don't brake in my house, don't try to rob me, then your ass won't get TASERED. PERIOD.

  • But I'm still allowed to accelerate in your house?

    ;)

  • Hahaha, good call.

  • cheeky

  • Man is that reviewer a puss. But I have to say thats the first taser I would consider carrying. My biggest concern with the others is you get ONE shot, and if you miss, well.... #*$@*#. On this, you have three shots, and each shot has dual projectiles for increased probability of success!

Very cool! A good alternative for those that don't want to go through the hassle or responsibility of carrying a firearm. =)

  • There was 2 different tasers? except for the shotgun in the picture they only looked at one.

  • Each taser cartridge always had two projectiles. you need two points of contact to complete a circuit. Now you have three cartridges.

  • Damn that's a cool tazer.

But dude, a calculator watch? Huge, nerd alert..

  • Looks like a toy with a yellow paint job.
