What was the final paint or resin that you used to finish the seal? Is it called Pond Shield or something else.

@Arteolike I don't know, I think it was some generic stuff used by my pond contractor.

Aeration effect is much better with a shower system.  Improved air-water interface.

@aquamaniacZ I think Wikipedia will answer the question much more accurately than I can ;-) Or try googling it. Basically it is material made from fibres of glass and is very strong.

Hi CA, the first few major renovations were borne from the quest for SIZE. Now my quest is more for quality of water from a better SYSTEM.

5 stars no questions asked. you may have lost some size in your pond, but that amazing filtration system should make up for it.

Although the pond depth was reduced sharply, the filter remains unchanged from the old set-up. Still 6 feet deep. So identical filter size as before but if computed as a % of total pond volume, the ratio has actually gone up.
