  • i nail ducks to the wall.

  • no need to buy CD

  • I love it! >;-)

  • the best album there is roger the best.it remindss me of my younger years

  • there were arabs with knives at the foot of the bed, WTF !! Rogers a genius

  • it was awesome almost 30 years ago yet when I hear it again I am flooded with emotions that i felt the first time. Got to love what Eric did with this

  • Fantastic piece of Rogers brain

  • Water's Dramatic Poetry + Clapton's Delta Blues Feeling = Real Masterpiece

  • 10 a 0

  • this album isn't 1984 released, because I remember I buy it in 1981... in Bandung city, Indonesia. And this album is the most I like after "The Final Cut" and "The Wall".

  • @boscosali It is definitely 1984, followed by an awesome tour with Eric Clapton.

  • Wow he got Sanborn and Clapton in his prime to do this gig what a show this must have been to see .

  • @adultstorebob It was everything you can imagine.

  • @paulc4567 thanks.

  • @adultstorebob I was there in the LA forum and yes it was very memerable.

  • @frontlinecoustom how do you get that gig.. Would love to travel with the wall!!

  • IM working on the wall live show , perth 2012, roger waters , rehearsles, building the wall , making the stage doing the pre production...Ive been looking forward to this for a while...The wall, animals, Pro's and cons of hitch hiking, Radio KAOS, I like em all. This is 1 of the best..Yeah I know the wall is more commercial and played more times everyday than all the rest put together... I like em all.

  • Thanx to Roger, he makes life worth living.......

  • Simply a masterpiece...nothing more needs to be said

  • Critics are the logs of an eternal fire. Let em crackle and burn. This is the sound genius makes. Better than coffee, wine, and a brand new day.

  • Ohh babe, where 'ya been?

you bring back the feeling, the flavor of damp teenage skin.

And hot afternoons, by the river, spent crushing the clover.

I said, "Lie down, roll over, I want to go back there again."

    Ohh baby, sweet Fassbinder lady.

    Where ya been?

  • Best album ever.

  • roger says this is no way linear and only he knows what is going on. read the book. its truley like a dream!!! a surrealistic dream and believe me I have had plenty of surrealistic abstract supernatural dreams.

  • I LOVE THIS ALBUM NO MATTER WHAT!!

  • speedracer and Trixie need to wake up racerXXX.net

  • U@asWellBassnectar&prettylights along with the radioheadandthebushmight catch some fish? johnny can pick them up and deliver to Fulsom Prison for everyone to stop this sickness when not necessary - Fuck kin jung il and UN - these assholes are sick and what the fuck is that you dont cry the supreme leader and the torture and starve you - i am personally done with this shit and is why 51planets exists

  • ...A Masterpiece...from cover to cover and player to player...Bravo to

...A Masterpiece?...Yes!!...Roger Waters and Eric Clapton are perfect!!!...

  • @gazoswoodrat Amen!

  • Just makes me want to smile..And smile i do!!

  • If you look at this album...Eric Clapton plays guitar

  • Eric's "squonk" @ 33:54 is epic.

  • "Fixed on the front of her Fassbinder face was the kind of a smile that only a rather dull child could have drawn while attempting a graveyard in the moonlight." ....I L.O.V.E. that line. Brilliant!

  • "Gunners Dream" @ 21:00!!!!!!!

  • They said something about a film adaptation long ago for this album,

    I want it Now.

  • Roger Waters is truly the most talented song writer to ever walk along this Earth.

Think about it... Dark Side of The Moon? THE WALL?! And this? God, I love Roger Waters.

  • @bigbadbeavis Don't forget amused to death and radio chaos And tthere's one more I havent heard yet

  • @bigbadbeavis You know Roger only wrote the lyrics for darkside right?

  • @MrPeanutDojo

He wrote the lyrics to The Wall and a little bit for Animals too. And some of a few songs from A Saucerful of Secrets and Ummagumma.

  • What a fucken album i cant listen to just one song its the whole cha cha .And evry time i listen the movie in my head gets deeper and deeper . chow fuckin woo

  • so good when that album ended I stood up and clapped and my grandma thought I was crazy

  • 00:24 i love that part

  • clapton!?!?! o_O

  • me encanta

  • ~~~~

  • roger presented both this and the Wall to the band the wall was choen and recorded by Pink Floyd this was sheved until roger left Floyd he was quoted as saying he liked this better than the wall

  • Roger was the original cult music maker. Starting with the wall I could not stop listening to him and this album incredible. The whole album tells a linear story. Fantastic artist . Is their one more album I missed after I grew up some ? Sounds like it.

  • amazing album, one of the best ever. Eric Clapton done a great job here.

roger waters is one of the best musicians around. he is the nowadays Wagner: great musician, and greater anti-Semite...

  • Roger & Eric. What can you say. Brilliant.

  • @mrbhante Eric is the only guy thats sounds as good or better than Gilmour with the distinct style of playing

Roger Later admitted he basically Begged clapton for this album

  • hitch hike.....and thumb up!

  • Why nobody posts AMUSED TO DEATH full album?

  • I detect lines of music eerily reminiscent of the Wall in here

  • @nhl555 oh really?....lol

  • @nhl555 According to David Gilmour, Roger came in with two demos; one of which turned into The Wall and the other turned into this.

  • @nhl555 final cut as well.

  • stuck to front of her fassbinder face was the kind of smile that only a rather dull child could have drawn while attempting a graveyard in moonlight...... only Roger Waters man

  • Roger Waters and Eric Clapton should get together again, this album is a true masterpiece.

  • dat ass...

  • did you understand the music, Yoko? or was it all in vain? fucking brilliant!

  • thanks for uploading the whole album,I fucking love this album and I used to listen to the whole album(that's how it should be listened) before I went to bed, it brings back nostalgic memories. Roger is a genius.

  • @armanpour335 couldn't agree more

  • @armanpour335 I thought I was the only one that did that. I also love this album. I just ordered it and received it the other day. This is my 3rd copy. And yes, you need to hear it from beginning to end. Takes you to a whole another world and feel different after listening to it. right on!

  • Anyone who likes this would also like Radio Kaos. Happy Anniversary to "The Wall" and thanks Pink Floyd and Roger especially!

  • I was just kicked out of my house...at the age of only 13 because my moms new boyfriend doesn't like me. I am currently living at my grandmas house and this album is the only thing keeping me sane. thank you roger!

  • sane next

  • Definitely a masterpiece

  • I think he means because Roger drew up 2 ideas for concept albums this and the wall and the band picked the wall.

  • all those fucking clothes

  • if this album had been made by pink floyd, it would have been a great success, but we would not have the wall

  • @fbigpilllin the wall was released 5 years before this so how would we not have the wall ?

  • DadBlameIt - I Strongly agree. David Sanborn's sax playing on this record is unbelievable.

  • I thought this was a masterpiece when I first listened to it in 1984. Like most of the music from the 'old' masters it got a lousy press at the time - in the UK anyway. Listening to it again I think I was justified in my admiration. Unlike much of the music of the era this one has really stood the test of time. Love it.

  • @leafyism Can you please help me? I have listened to Pros and Cons under several intoxicants, sober, every emotion and consider it a 4/10! My question for you is that I have always been PARTIAL towards Roger in Floyd fame...but DISLIKE Pros and Cons! However, LOVED The Final Cut which is considered by most including myself a Roger solo album. Your kind input please?

  • Comment removed

  • I'v always been a gilmour man,and only got into waters solo stuff in the last year, but i'm glad i waited coz I dont think I was mature enough to appreciate the gravity of the content.but in answer to ur Q, If you view The Wall, Final Cut and Pros as a trio it seems to capsulate what he was trying to achieve,an album that sounded like you where live in the arena with the sound quality of the studio.I think Pros is the pinnacle of that.its the only real concept album coz its not about himself :)

  • @blackened667 Try Radio K.A..O.S.

  • @CrazyInsanelikeafox KAOS is horrible has that gay 80's culture club ring to it

  • @leafyism Cheers mate! Roger Waters is one of the greatest composers os its time. And this disc is one of the most uderrated of all time.

  • @jelirestri I Agree!!

  • wow ive never heard this before.. this is great.. mindblowing

  • I am okay with this.

  • Bows down to the dude who uploaded these badboys... have a pint mate.

  • @quinnman1971 yep, I'm having my bloody pint right now, cheers lads!

  • @quinnman1971 and a gin tonic to chase....

  • @skelagervej423: TwoHandsNY is correct! This album was meant to be the third in the trilogy after The Wall and The Final Cut!

  • I saw this live at Earls Court in 1984 and it has to the best gig i have ever seen! Waters and Clapton playing together was a dream come true!! Awesome!

  • @RedRouteClearway Lucky bastard

  • Really neat album and sounds. Best listened to on a really good pair of headphones. Funny thing is when I bought this album I had to hide the album cover from my mom.

Oh and I had all lyrics memorized. Great stuff. Love the saxophone in this.

  • ..hey,! that looks like my ass...heheheheheeeeeeeeeeeeee!...

  • clapton ate a wiener.

  • Thanks a million for posting the whole album

  • Roger Waters Is My Mozzart

  • Roger and Eric, good duo.

  • full album wow, a wish that came true

  • @thaunbeated Why don`t you buy the album?

  • whoever uploaded this i want to thank you

  • thanks for posting this epic album...

  • this is a musical masterpiece. period.

  • i have always loved clapton's music as well as pink floyd but never even heard this album. i should be shot and quartered.

  • A good album, but my god its strange, strange in so many awesome ways.

  • awesome album

  • 2 people are window lickers

  • Such a good album.

  • I was lucky too see Waters live in Copenhagen May 11' perform The Wall and no doubt about it Roger Waters is The Wall.

And he is truly a genius, but his solo work has nothing to do with Pink floyd.

  • Have loved this album for a long time! Never get tired of it! Saw it live once. Awesome!

  • Clapton is badass!!!!!

  • Roger Waters is such a genius!

  • Fucking Awesome!!, that is all!!

  • The wall, pros and cons, and KAOS are a trilogy. First from behind the wall then exploring and finding a complicated world, and overcoming monetarism and pessimism in KAOS. Play them one after the other and you will see. it's the happy ending to everything that is PF. from when the tigers broke free to the tide is tuning.

  • @TwoHandsNY

I disagree, Waters may have been thinking about future projects.

But after tThe Wall came The final cut, title says it all.

The trilogy starts with The pros and cons, followed by Radio kaos and Amused to death.....

  • fuckin bluesy man ...awesome !!!

  • This is bits of The Wall mixed with stuff from TFC with a heavy dose of Blues. As I'm a fan of all 3, I don't mind this. Should probably listen to it more than once though

  • does anyone notice that Apparently They Were Traveling Abroad has a simliar riff to In The Flesh??

    its not bad, its creative:)

    kudos you to Roger!

  • this album would make a great film

  • I'd like to mention.. Eric Clapton lead guitar btw!

  • This Was Brought In At The Same Time As The Wall But The Band Went For The Wall As They Felt Pros Was A Bit Too Personal...

  • Sure, A momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell are lyrically retarded, but I'd rather have good music with bad lyrics than bad music with good lyrics.

  • @adronias Not sure why you think the lyrics are retarded on MLOR and The division Bell. I'm glad you agree the music is great on those two albums as I do too,but I personally think the lyrics are just fine.

  • The music on this album is incredibly derivative of the wall. With some identical guitar riffs and musical themes copied straight from tw. This album is better than the final cut, which isn't hard really as tfc is a piece of shit, but it totally lacks musical ideas and it suggests that Rogers creativity had run its course. If this is where Roger would have taken Pf, then I'm glad he left and we got amlor and tdb from Gilmour which has gorgeous musical landscapes.

  • @adronias

    Really?

Totally different feel to this album rather than "The Wall".

Perhaps the musical motifs may be similar but it's a real stretch to claim that this album has anything thematically or (apart from a superficial chordal structure) musically to "The Wall" or The Final Cut".

Unless, of course, you plan on suing anyone who has used music built upon Pythagoras's idea's of music.

    * good luck with that by the way.

  • @adronias Of course this album is related to the Wall because Waters wrote both albms. Btw, TFC can only be understood when you think of it as a protest against the Falklands War. TFC is perhaps the only album that engaged the real world. In fact, the words of TFC was the reason why Waters was never knighted by the Queen while Gilmour was more neutral and got a CBE. Give the album a try. Imho TFC is the best album along with The Dark Side. plus it isn't played it in the radio ad nauseam.

  • as she picked up the doggy in the window the one with the waggily tail and she put him to bed between two bits of bread

  • the floyd album that never was none the less awsome

  • the reason ehy i like this album is because i like butts more than boobs

  • Before we go go after those that toil in a factory that is against the idea of Workers Rights

  • I actually think this album (overall) is better than The Final Cut and Momentary Lapse of Reason.

  • @EvertonianRoar the final cut is terrible really, never got into it and i did try. MLOR tho, is a different animal. agreed that it doesnt compare to this MASTERPIECE tho, but it's still pretty psycho (iiiiIIIIIIIIIII have always been here.......iiiIIIIIIIIIIIII have always looked out from behind these eyes etc etc etc lol)

  • I only recently re-discovered Pink Floyd, and this is the true successor, following on perfectly from the Wall and The Final Cut (also a fabulous album). Apologies to all die-hards, but this kicks Momentary Lapse of Reason into a cocked hat.

  • Simply the best,great Classic

  • BIG Floyd fan - equally like Waters & Gilmour, besides all the politics involved....

never heard this album fully before - its Class, and its also the seed that grew to become the sound that Pink Floyd became.... brilliant

  • @renaissance311 this is post-Floyd for Roger

  • @renaissance311 it was actually pitched to the band at the same time as The Wall, and they went with the latter.

  • I guess the one dislike is DAVID GILMORE! ;)

  • Thank you for putting this up. This is the big middle finger when needed for Gilmore

  • fuken class 8000 views not nearly enough ,this guys amazing
