I was let down by Prowler. For a coaster which is technically *new* it was way to rough. It seemed like the lift hill was too big for the rest of the ride.

I was at worlds of fun yesterday and I went on this one, not being very brave when it comes to coasters I say it was a scary ride but also really fun and well worth facing my fear. ^^ I have been on coasters before like 2 but it had been a while. =)

The mamba is so awesome because it flies you out the ride and the in one of the seats the buckle undoes itself at the very top and you go flying out.

Mamba wasn't that great. Had no airtime after the block brake. Prowler is the best ride at WOF. I rode Prowler 10 times, while I rode everything else once. Patriot was my 100th coaster.

But I do like prowler a little more because of its layout through trees and its fast pace, but mamba has awesome airtime! lifting out of the seat with arms up in the air on the first two drops is definately a fun sensation and so is keeping arms up completely through the head chopper on the helix! So ya mamba is also cool Lol.

I got on this for the first time last night, and I was surprised. I did not expect it to be that fun, and it goes real fast, which I love about it. The best time to ride this is at night because it makes it even more fun. This is probably my favorite second roller coaster at Worlds of Fun next to Mamba.

The pacing of this ride is very intense, the entire thing is very low and elements are taken very fast... the bump at 1:11 is a killer lol.

Definitely more intense than its meager height would make you think

This is my favorite roller coaster at Worlds of Fun for several reasons: 1. awesome speed and airtime 2. perfect location in the park (going under the train bridge is cool) 3. Most of its layout is concealed by trees (just like classics such as Zambezi Zinger and Orient Express had) Which adds mysteriousness and adventure to the ride experience and even a bit of intimidation for that matter. 4. Its less than 100 foot height (85 to be exact) is very decieving as the ride packs a serious punch!

Favorite roller coaster at Worlds of Fun, but I'd say most of the sweat we sweated the day that I rode it was from standing in the Prowler's line. Mamba is good too, Timberwolf is a good first roller coaster, Patriot is wicked, the only one that I don't like at Worlds of Fun is the Spinning Dragons.

Try this ride right before the park closes. It's freakin' insane. But fun. They turn off all the lights and its pitch dark, so you don't know which way you're about to turn. I hit into my dad so much, he got himself hurt. Haha :D

My father had neck surgery but he wants to ride it, but since its wooden we are not sure if it is a smart idea.

Is it pretty smooth, or is it like the timberwolf was? (all rough and shaky.)

@soldierfront03050 i wouldnt ride it if i had neck surgery recently. its VERY smooth for a wooden roller coaster, however, the thrill of the ride is that it is fast and jerks you around corners unexpectedly. the seats are very comfortable and the ride is MUCH better than timberwolf. so it is tough to tell. i would probably get a doctors opinion

It didn't hurt his neck at all.

He rode almost every ride there, we just didn't wanna wait in line for the boomerang, so we skipped that.

He was a little stiff at the end of the day, but other than that he was fine.

one of the best things about the prowler for me is the adventure of it, the novelty. i'm not 100% completely familiar with the layout, or the building next to it, and all that good stuff, like i am with the timberwolf, mamba, pat, or boomerang. great coaster

Yes, I agree that Voyage is one kick ass coaster, but I don't consider it to be a woodie because the structure is primarily reinforced by steel.

structure doesn't matter, it doesn't lend anything to the ride experience. It's got wooden rails and ties, and that's what gives it the woodie feel and the woodie classification.

mbren28568 Prowler is beyond a mild thrill coaster, I would put it in the extreme category due to the fact that every little turn throws you out of your seat. And oshilzl speed and height on a coaster dosnt matter. What matters is if the coaster can deliver good air time and maintain smoothness, which is what Prowler delivers to its " Prey" . People honestly need to hold there comments to themsleves till they have actually riden Prowler.

It's actually a lot of fun, and it's VERY smooth, it's just SLIGHTLY rougher then a steel coaster, nothing like Timberwolf. Trust me you'll love it!
