EXTRAORDINARY!!! I think this movie is so great!!! I watched it twice, and will again. But, I believe Columbus Short DID HIS DANG THANG!!! I pray everyone gives him his props. I mean, without a doubt Jeffrey Wright did his thing and needs to be voted for an Oscar. He always turns the big screen out. But, Columbus Short was no joke either!!! I might join in and say that but I believe the dates of filming would say otherwise, and especially the acceptance of the role. I do think she wanted an opportunity to do some extraordinary acting, and maybe to incorporate her singing with it. But I gotta tell you, she did a darn good job in Caddillac Records. I grew up with etta james, and her voice and body type is more geared to Kimberly Locke,or Jennifer Hudson.
