I agree it's better in hebrew. Nobody can emulate the great Naomi Shemer z"l. But I am happy at least that the song is being distributed to the rest of the world and if it has to be altered to english then so be it.

nice, I didn't knew that she is famous in abroad... I remember her as an 11 year old, in the show "Bravo". she sang a song of Ofara Haza.
