The dutch army kept there ground, thats why Hitler demanded the destruction of Rotterdam. He was furious. Only the destruction of Rotterdam and if we didn't surrender, the destruction of Utrecht. This is why the Dutch military surrenderd.

The German army wasn't even complety motorised, mostly the forces and equipment were moved around by horses or on foot (in some cases even bikes, they stole from the Dutch).

Most people seem to think the Dutch army was responssible for the destruction of a large number of enemy aircraft, but infact it were the Dutch Jews that bought the AA (anti-aircraftguns), because as you all know the Dutch governement didn't believe it was necessary too build up our armed forces, because we were supposed too be neutral.

Looking at the geographic location and the geography of Holland itself, its obvious we couldn't have stopped the German army without reinforcement of Engeland or France.

Our terrain was and is ideally suited for military operations. Open fields and low terrain makes it easy for paratroopers or even normal groundforces.
