I personally cannot survive on currently synthesized aka supplement technology. Congratulations if you are able. Granted I eat way more meat than I need to. If my calculations are correct i eat 40 to 44 times the volume of meat I need to live a healthy life.

That's a horrible way to look at things. People becoming vegetarian doesn't affect the people in Sudan, and nobody is asking people in starving countries to become vegetarian. Meat eaters and vegetarians are equally guilty for doing little to help starvation in other countries. I believe helping other humans should be first priority, but helping animals doesn't do harm to humans, so i'm a little confused about your logic...

@LucasTheAtheist the corn fed to these animals are not digestible to humans and yield a much higher poundage per acre. you would literally need 2x as much land to produce protein rich plants to be sufficient to what animal farms provide and it would be at a higher cost obviously. only solution is to depopulate or starve at this point. humans, the dumbest invasive species.

There are other reasons for going vegetarian though. The food and water that feeds chickens could feed humans. That's the main reason I don't eat chicken.
