Just 25 years ago, the 'mind body connection'was just comiing of age, in mainstream circles, wherein 5 years from now, direct treatment of the psycho-emotional cause of illness will be practiced in ways that would have seemed like fairy tales a decade or two ago. I don't understand why some people have a problem with Deepak,he is a great man.I was depressed for 7 years from 21 years old until i was 28.His teachings helped me to get out of it in a very short time,he inspired me to meditate and now i find it essential for overcoming stress.At one point i was so happy i literally jumped for joy it was the best feeling i have ever experienced.Then i started listening to the yogi's from India and my inner peace increased even more.Thank you so much Deepak.

I am very much interested in Spiritual Healing. Being a doctor, I can understand why Deepak gives his website on the latest scientific research om tjhe most common diseases, however what does it matter what the disease is? I mean, I don't want to recognize a problem as a problem by looking into "diseases" and, make it as something that is real and then trying to get rid of it through spriritual healing. But for those that are interested I guess, its fine for you, but I think its unecessary.
@Unonadados He is not saying that all diseased can be healed through spiritual healing,its more about knowledge for those who want to know.Spiritual healing is about finding true inner happiness.As a result your less likely to suffer from stress and depression and mental related illnesses.This will have a positive effect on the body but it does not mean you will heal or be immune to all disease.

I understand what Deepak means, and I am sure he's speaking to an audience that is on another level of Consciousness, that is not to say that its wrong, simply that there is a "higher" way, that covers all diseases. @Unonadados Yes i also understand your point of view because when i first started developing on a spiritual level i felt invincible but after a few years i realized that spiritual healing can only so far,it wont stop you from getting a cold or the Flu but your immune system may become stronger and be able to remove the virus more effective.However if you get the rabies virus then it would be foolish to think that the body can heal on its own without medical help.

As for your statements on the limitations of this practise, this is your personal experience of your perceived limitations.
