  • HAHA, at first I was like "there's no way to prove that!" ... you got me. thanks for a laugh :)

  • lmfao thnx

  • kick ass!

  • Hoh Hoh Hoh you are one smart man! keep the analog alive!

  • This is simple but funny

  • What happened to this guy's channel?

  • I KNEW IT

  • Holy true:D:D:D

  • THAT WAS GREAT!!!!!

  • oooh you such a cd hater lol i take it as sarcasm

  • get your own video, you just ripped this off

  • hey the record had daft punk's da funk from the album homework

  • youtube.com/watch?v=g5dCMz4gKLI

  • Very funny.

  • CD sounds better, why? Error correction. That's why, with vinyls all you get is pop, crackle, hiss, jump...

  • @craigcrawford1988 depends on what needles u have tbh...

  • thats funny and i wasn't exspecting that song

  • You put the cd on the wrong side! duh

  • Lol'd

  • Hello the Needle ON A turntable is not a laser so it can't play a cd. LAME!!!!!!

  • excellent test! Vinyl does sound better. lol

The people who are insulting this video either are in a bad mood or lacks a sense of humor.

  • When Audio CD vas invented in 1979 (By Philips & Sony) it was used a "today" obsolete technology that captures 44,100 Khz of Audio Spectrum that have revolutionary on these times, years later the people and Engineers Sound discover that audio CD does not offer al audio spectrum of a Vinyl Record o analog tapes, Sony/Philips works again on the Classic Audio CD and Launch a SACD "Super Audio CD"of 300,000 Khz.

  • @josuenava really, SACDs are 300,000 KHz? I thought it was 96,000 Hz.

  • facepalm

  • comedy genious

  • what's the name of the daft punk song of this video?

  • @josehf34 Da Funk

  • No digital? Guys, I hate to break it to you, but a lot of vinyl was pressed from the same digital masters that CDs come from. Mosts LPs aren't "purely" analog and this isn't a recent phenomenon. It's been that way since the 80s.

  • What? obviously a wind-up!!!!! Laughed heartily though.

  • @nero87 - your a moron. It's what happens to the CD/MP3 once it's taken from the original master. Compressed & trimmed & therefor looses it's original sound.

  • @harddancevideo

I think we're talking cross-purposes. I wasn't speaking to how the quality of a master recording compares to a CD and how certain formats differ in terms of data compression. (Being more respectful to others will take you a long way, btw.)

  • @nero87 The majority of vinyl was pressed pre-digital from the 2-track open reel master tapes which were analog.

  • what a stupidly, moronic video! people have too much time on their hands

  • LOL thats jhonathan

  • Vinyl is better! For some reason old stuff is just plain better. Take watches for example, they were entirely mechanical (just gears and springs) but now it's all plastic and circuts. I prefer a watch that actually does "tick", it really defeats the purpose when a watch doesn't tick. What happens when an EMP goes off? Everyone without a fully mechanical watch is fucked... Up the ass! Machines are better than electronics! Steam is better than gas! Vinyl is better than cd! End of story!

  • That's ellaskins's video. Don't steal his stuff, he's a cool guy.

  • LOL! Good parody on the endless discussion of CD vs Vinyl :)

  • who dat clown?

  • you fucked up your needle on the CD

  • do they still release music on Vinyl? and why is the sound quality better? i thought digital was supposed to be better but im a noob

  • Yes they do. And yes vinyl IS better, I was onverted yesterday, and bought some records. There's warmth on vinyl, and you can hear EVERYTHING!!! Get 180 Gram!!

  • It's not 'better', it's just . . . different. I would recommend getting an album you are really familiar with on both vinyl and cd, then listen to them side-by-side and compare the differences. Really quite interesting.

  • Yes vinyl is better, the reason is because vinyl records the sound straight from the studio. CD on the other hand takes a "photograph" of the sound and most of the sound is lost, it's no different than recording a computer screen with a camcorder.

  • that's a very bad comparison. basically, what you're saying is that they basically use a voice recorder to record digitally...

vinyl is better because it doesn't use any form of compression. cd does, but the difference isn't too big unless the producers use clipping and limiting to make it sound louder...this happens a lot. i think people have become too stupid to turn the volume up.

  • yes. because they are directly from the masters, with no digital conversions, which harm the sound quality. Plus, they are, the uncompressed versions of the songs.

  • Too simplistic, this is even more simplistic, anologue just sound better, like for like compared across comparative sources.

It's likely down to the colouration that is added by the primitive anologue source, daft or what?

  • Epic. I got a good laugh out of that.

    And Daft Punk FTW

  • haha Daft Punk!

  • ahahhahahahaha

  • ha! there you have it - proof that vinyl does sound better than cd, and cd - as we all guessed - is just a music industry hoax!

...get out of that one you music industry moguls!

  • vinyl forever!!!

  • is that ellaskins?

  • Vinyls are obviously better, just look at the science. However... you would struggle to carry a personal vinyl player to work everyday hence the fashion change in general.

  • ha ha you goose!

  • LOL!!!

  • i wasted my time seeing this video

  • hahaha! Fuck CD real DJs play vinyl!!!

  • LOL nice

  • vinyl ftw

  • this is ellaskins!

  • I STILL BUY CD I STILL BUY VINYL RECORDS I OWN A 60S GARRARD i use it but i like analog it sounds better to me anyway.

  • funny bastard! bet yeh id beet yeh ina mix battle tho! lol

  • lol

  • hahahahahahahaaaaaa
