Considering pros make 20k for winning a regular tournament then(in str8s case) they give 10% to the coach that leaves them with 18k and that has to be split 4 ways. That equals 4.5k. And for winning the nationals they split 90k 4 ways. Thats 22.5k if a team was to win every tournament in the 09 season they would end up with 40,500. And that is only if they win every single tournament which no team in h3 history has been able to do. so you can see how it´s unlikely that they make a mill a year.

Actually MLG is an official sport and this guy -is- making a huge amount of money by just "pressing buttons," as you've dubbed it. Maybe not a million, but a good few hundred thousand, probably. I'm more of a fan of RTS tournaments myself, but I respect pros of other game genres nonetheless. After all, it's all about the GG no matter what game you're playing.
