Good way to learn. The Firstbike version has a brake that kids can learn on.

I have a friend whose toddler has one. He loves it! Rides it all the time.

He got going rather fast but there are not any brakes. That seems dangerous!

Your feet are the brakes! Works better than a brake since you are also balancing yourself as you slow down.

But there is no option for an instant stop like brakes. That seems too fast for no brakes.

My daughter has never fallen from one. She loves it. it's much better than a regular bike because her balance is so much more coordinated shes much less likely to have an accident or push herself into a situation where she will fall.
