anyone else hear the Danny Elfman Batman Theme song for this keyboard/synth melody? I think BC subconsciously ripped that melody. Everytime I hear this, it reminds me of Batman.
@soundmashvagrant i don't know if he subconsciously ripped it off but i heard that the first time i heard it like 6 months ago and didn't have the balls to say it lmao so cheers and nice catch. great score and great song here
I am not exaggerating at all when I say that this song was the best part of my entire YEAR (except maybe when they played GEEK USA!!! Heaven on earth). Thank you so much Mr. Corgan for not abandoning your love of music because I love your music and it made a huge impact on my life. Saw ya in Denver, 2nd row center of the balcony with the woman I love. It was seriously so amazing. The whole 2 hour plus night. I would see you every month if I could. Thanks for coming at all. See you every time!!!!
If you go back and research he actually recorded many songs with him playing every instrument. He drums, bass, guitar, piano......hard to do live though.
man i know they sound fook all alike, but the Pumpkins are the American Pink Floyd for me, and i mean that as the highest compliment i can serve. i cant tell ye how good it is to hear the SP back on form.
@siamesedreamful mate i didnt know that. the two bands that have had a direct influence in making me who i am. siamese dream + mellon collie + dark side of the moon + wish you were here = one meleemonkey :)
The bridge in this song is so full of melancholy + sadness. Love it!

the smashing pumpkins sound like the Smashing Pumpkins they can NOT be compared to any other band because they are different from all of them.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this might be Billy's best song since For Martha. An incredible experience.

The beginning reminds me of The Burbs whenever they would show the Clopeks house.

This song's intro sounds EXACTLY like "Un Finale" from the video game Myst.

This is so awesome! I thought SP was going to suck with everyone but the lead singer gone, but this is really good! Welcome back SP :)

So beautiful. A wonderful triptych of emotion. That Mellotron kills. Totally has a Batman vibe like TEITBITE and TBITEITB!

@TheMeleemonkey It does have an "Atom Heart Mother" suite kind of vibe around the 7:00 mark.

@TheMeleemonkey Pink Floyd? i think that's a little bit too much, they are a great band, but nowhere near the Floyds!

@staindman00 PF and SP are very different and are both great in their own way. you cannot say one is better than the other

@TheMeleemonkey I agree, after all if I'm not mistaken Billy Corgan of SP did induct Pink Floyd into the rock hall of fame.
