Why, being such a good choir, not to perform the splendid and well known composition from the 1740 "Messiah" Oratorium by G.F.Haendel instead?
It´s made by joining 2 distinct parts of the Bible (one by Isahyah, other by Mathaeus), but undoubtedly an excellent arrangement can be made for 4 or even 8 voices separately, I´m sure.
By the way, Haendel created a basic melody, having then just changed the key from the alto to the soprano, with a few different notes for this latter.
