People this is all pretty talking. Sorry to say, but clearly the lack of knowledge is evident. If you have ever lived in poorer countries you would know that the bunnies are lucky to be transported in a sack. It's not that they are mean to animals it's just the way things are. And, actually at least they have them outside in fresh air, eating greens, etc. Not in huge stinky barns where they never even see the sun...

Many countries don't have enough food resources. Rabbits are easy to keep & breed rapidly, which makes them Idea. Also all the dropping mixed with soil provide excellent fertilizer. I don't like this, but it is natures way. So I stay away from things like this. Breeders who are starting out are looking for pairs to breed offspring for food, but also to breed pets for people who are desperately for a pet for companionship. This project can bring in commerce for everyone concerned.

The debate on this is pointless. People have to eat. Many regions don't have the abundance of some countries. My concern with this set up is their is no hardwood area for the bunnies to rest, lay on. The wiring is used to allow all urine and pellets to fall underneath. But by law certain standard must be followed. One of them is humane soild flats areas, big enough to lay on. Animal Control or the ASPCA can confiscate them until that need is implimented. ---- Continues

lol no that is no the correct way to pick up a rabbit. obviously you dont know your shit. And you dont "got" 20 rabbits, you "Have" 20 rabbits. the correct way to do it is, by grabbing the rabbit by the scruf of the neck, with say your right hand, then cradle it like a football in your left arm while holding the rear of the rabbit with your left hand. If you pick them up from the underside they are just going to kick and squirm. But to each there own eh, Basketcase haha

Im a rabbit breeder, but I breed for shows. The only thing wrong with grabbing them by the scruff of the neck is that it tears the skin from the meat and makes it flabby. Unless they want to show them, there is nothing wrong with it. Hope all goes well for your rabbit breeding!!
