  • It's beautiful <3

  • hope that guy had hearing protection

  • the IMI galil...firepower of an M16 with the recoil of an AK47

    terrible weapon XD

in countrstrike atleast, never tried it in real life...

  • 7.62 = stopping power

    5.56 = accuracy

  • go Israel show the world how smart and talented the jews are and make a strong stand

  • Sweet gun

  • The is why I use it in black ops.

  • TERRORISTS WIN. B-4-1 Counter strike

  • sweeet rifle, I love the Galil!

  • it sounds different on cod.

  • @ind20000 because games aren't real

  • @cazybeast2 ZOMG RLY? I THOT THEY WUZ REAL

  • The fat guy is laughing as if shooting the mother in law....

  • My favorite weapon, the accuracy of the 5.56mm and the durability of the lord of war, how much better could it get, plus you can change out to 7.62 if you wanna shot through crap and have higher damage. :)

  • I'm thinking the advantage of the Golani over the M-16 is the gas system of the Golani. It's AK ancestory gives it more ruggedness. Be chambered in 5.56 is good for American owners as .223 and 5.56 are very common rounds here.

  • superb weapon...7.62mm also great.

  • i dont think that is a Golani im just saying i maybe wrong but isnt the Galil Golani be semi auto only this one in the vid is firing in burst and full auto just me and i am saying i maybe wrong just wondering

  • That is a very sweet weapon!

  • The Galil is best when ur talking about AK type weapons. The final product in its evolution. The South Africans copied it, the Estonians use them, and its being phased out by Israel. Alotta these rifles make their way to Central/South America. I bet the FARC uses more Galils than AK's. Especially the very cheaply made chicom type.

  • bear belly

  • For the last time, Galil is a Finnish gun but israelis just bought the schematics to make their own version of RK-62 (finnish gun)

  • @DaBoomz13 if thats the case then the Galil is a russian gun because the rk-62 is just the Finnish' own version of the AK

  • galil scare me

  • I WONT BE A JEW!!! PLEACE HALP ME

  • Thanks for the post.

  • Here in Brazil, to have any kind of gun is a crime.

  • @daltonagre oooh so sad u cant go hunting and hitting targets made of wood or metal.. lol too bad for u

  • man the Israelis have this weapon shit on lock man !!!!!!! and im Mexican we got the Cuerno de Chivo shit on lock (AK-47)

  • @MysticGanjaMan420 jajja idiot

  • @curseofa5r5a fuck you- hater.

  • @MysticGanjaMan420 why don you say some illness in spanish, porque tambien puedo hablar español

  • 楽しそう^^

  • Has to be loud in there

  • GO JEWS :D (israeli gun)

  • @phish33194 its originally finnish gun, finnish sold the blueprints to the israelis, its called RK-62 in Finland

  • @DaBoomz13 whatever

  • @phish33194 Mos defntly GO JEWS, everyone them, by law, serves a term in the force straight out of high school.

  • lol ok...

  • Fuck you, dirty rotten racist, I'm Russian & Jewish, peice of shit, go sock your grandma's cock...

  • Damn! You survived the Czars and Nazis and Communist cleansing of the Jews and Nazis Russian cleansing...

Learn to spell S-U-C-K you fuckhead, not sock, a sock is something you put on your foot before you put it in a shoe...

  • there is nothing wrong with Jews and Russians, It's just A religion, it's not true that we pick up pennies, and have huge noses, infact, Jesus was Jewish, so shut up! And Russians aren't bad either, there good people. if you don't belive me, than you are officialy sick & twisted... the Nazis did not even like Hitler, they were forced to, why do you hate Jews anyway?

  • i fact there is much more christian people with vig nose then jews with big nose

  • wow you are an idiot

  • I love the love I get on youtube.

  • tha makes no sense

  • SHUT UP! galils and AKs are basically just alike! all guns are powerful, exept for nerf guns LOL!

  • ak-47 is better..........

  • How the heck can you compare? Ak-47s (assuming you mean the originals) are 60+ years old, and uses a single caliber, 7.62x39.

Galils can have a faster fire rate, are comparably as reliable, and utilize standard NATO rounds. The 5.56 round fragments flesh better than the 7.62x39s up to about 120 meters, and the Galil can also use the even more lethal 7.62x51 rounds.

If you REALLY insist on AKs, might I suggest looking into the AK 10x series? AK-103/4 are the latest for 7.62x39 rounds.

  • ok so there 60+ yrs old..... that just proves that they are the most effective infantry weapon out there! all these otha weapons have been around for what? 30- yrs? (excluding the M16) and bsides.... would you rather have a target with a hole the size of a .22 or the size of a .308?

  • hahahah you must be joking. Have you ever shot both in full auto side by side or at all for that matter?

The Galil has several advantages over the AK-47 design, but I don't have time to do your research for you.

  • no i have never shot a full auto galil but i have fired a full auto ak......

  • Full auto is a waste of ammo in a combat situation for a rifleman, so I don't know why what you said would be relevant.

  • treu treu ^^ the AK-47 is the best combat rifle EVER made the first one still rivals the modern m16 and such... i dont get that people say that the ak-47 is bad, because its like 40+ years old and still in use must show somthing of the goodness of a rifle? right?

  • XDDDD....

man when u will know somthing about weapons talk here

i want to see you tying to shot with ak

  • the ak47 isnt bad. its just been improved with the ak74, ak100-103 series, etc.

  • It's bad because it's inaccurate and has horrible range

  • The AK's piston driven system is probably the best around, but if put that same kind of hardware in a AR. You've got yourself a accurate gun that never stops shooting.

  • isent that gun like the ak-47?

other than that, nice video :)

  • Yea the design is based on the AK-47

  • is this gun powerful and destructive using the 5.56 round ? i need a answer a.s.a.p

  • no 7.62x39 is a much more powerful round..... it doesnt go as far but has def mor punch when it hits target and it makes bigger hole.........

  • Yes and no. At MOUT ranges the 5.56 Nato does just as much damage if not more than a 7.62x39mm. Now if your using AP rounds with either caliber both are going to leave small enter and exit wounds and leave the target intact unless the rounds strike vital organs. So really bullets are bullets. The AK is just as Accurate in the hands of professional as an AR is in that same person's hands. Its preference people. PREFERENCE!

  • your outta your mind 5.56 does not do as much dmg as the 7.62 google AK vs m16 discovery channel you will see...........

  • Unlike you I don't need a search engine to know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about Non-armored flesh targets. Not steel targets at 300 meters. On top of that I'm also talking about MOUT standard engagement ranges....100 meters. Both the 5.56 Nato and the 7.62x39mm reach close to there maximum velocities at those ranges.

  • dude it isnt about freaking google when people argue they do it with fact/proof nothings more proof than visual, the point of the matter is bigger bullet does more damage the whole reason we got our asses whipped in Vietnam it was basically M16svsAk47's and the AK's won the ripped right through trees and connected to target.

  • We didn't get our asses whipped in Vietnam. We won almost every single battle including TET. The NVA and VC, while have AKM's they did not fire with accuracy in mind. That being said a disciplined US soldier with an M16VN or M16A1 could effectively stop blood and or brain activity on human targets. Please don't think everything you see on TV is the absolute truth. 5.56 NATO goes through Cement Bricks, Steel Plates, and Body armor, it'll go through some trees at the correct velocity.

  • thank you for your service

  • Oh. I haven't served yet. I'm in ARMY DEP for an Avionics MOS.

  • @nthnkilgore, and American soldiers fired there M16's with accuracy in mind? In Vietnam, soldiers used over 50,000 rounds of ammo per enemy killed! This is the reason why the full auto option was replaced with a 3 round burst. The M193 they used in Vietnam was not as effective in penetrating objects, hence the reason why they improved the penetration with the M885. None the less, 7.62mm are generally more effective at penetrating barriers then the 5.56x45 round.

  • Pray n spray wasn't effective. Obviously. The M885 does not have greater penetration and did not replace the M193 because it was a more capable round such as the SOST. The M885/A1 have failed to perform at high temperatures and the Military wanted to use a "green round" hence the M885 is steel tipped instead of being lead tipped like the SOST. The M193 was very effective in the hands of a well disciplined soldier. I said that before. If you do it right you won't need more than 1 round.

  • @nthnkilgore, the M885 DID replace the

M193. The M193 lost out to the M885 in the NATO trials, so the M885 is the standard now. The M885 has a steel core versus the lead core of the M193, so it's more effective in penetrating then the M193.

  • @esh325 NATO switched to the M885 because they didn't want the lead contamination from the M193, round performance has nothing to do with the Military choosing the M885 even failed tests at high temps. Go look up the article from army times call "deadlier 5.56mm round, the marines get it....you don't" it explains why the SOST is superior to the M885

  • @nthnkilgore, "5.56x45mm 62-grain FN SS109 ball cartridge, green tip w/steel penetrator and a LEAD core." What you're saying is very ridiclous. The lead free version is primarily used in training. Do you really think they changed bullet designs simply just because of lead? It dosen't what it failed, because its being used now.

  • I meant the M885A1 failed. I'm talking about the round the US ARMY uses, not anyone else.

  • @nthnkilgore, I believe all the NATO armies use the SS109 round.

  • Negative, The USMC use the SOST. I don't know what the FNH specification is but I will look it up.

  • @nthnkilgore, the SOST won't be replacing the M885, but only suplementing it.

  • @esh325 I know, but it is still a superior round and it should replace it.

  • @nthnkilgore There were not very many battles...besides losing countless helicopters, and troops to guerrilla warfare. I would say we got screwed pretty hard.

  • @MooseDaAirsoft I'm not just saying. It's fact that we literally whooped ass. When it came down to it we should have won. There was no reason to have had Saigon fall. We had the gear and mind set from the get go, but Washington wanted to control everything they knew nothing of. That's just how it was...is. In war you need 5 things to win, AMMO,FOOD,WATER, MORAL, and.......body bags. It's inevitable death will happen and it only happens more when people want to control it 8000 miles away.

  • @nthnkilgore Except your soldiers weren't disciplined, that was the problem. You did get your asses whipped, everyone knows it, yeah you won the conventional battles but it wasn't a conventional war.

  • @nthnkilgore what they always see in tv is the killings and the little kids go to hospital... but what they dont know there are gonna be less kids dying that way.

i dont really care from which side but when it comes to losers like hammas and the arabian "empire" that their last solution is terrorism, and terrorism is a crime, i think they are the causing of blood and the way the world is against them right now should stay that way untill they stop using crimes.

  • @nthnkilgore Yeah, that's also why Vietnam won the war.

    Stupid moronic patriot...

  • @nthnkilgore preffer to have a 7.62x39 in my chest, than a 5.56, that little needle causes a lot of damage, ive seen a lot of war injuries in college, and a bullet that hits in the belly and destroy the heart, limbs, etc, the fragmentation its terrible, that round should be benned

  • @nthnkilgore The 5.45x39mm is still the most effective round, though.

It can go through armor, steel, bricks, whatever, and still do more damage to the target.

Before anyone calls me out on this, let me explain. It is such a short round (one of the closer-to-pistol round rifle rounds there is) that it tumbles immediately after hitting the target, spreading the damage out.

  • @nthnkilgore Well the truth is the 7.62 has higher damage while the 5.56 has higher accuracy and range, and it's the main reason why the Golani Galil is my favorite weapon 5.56mm accuracy and range with the durabilitay of the lord of war(ak47)..... you would be stupid not to take that choice.

  • @IfinduIgetu This is not correct...the standard for precision rifles is still the 7.62 projectile. In both the 51mm and 54mm case lengths. Look at the DMR rifles used in the Gulf and also the Bolt action Sniper (As in M40) platforms.

With the BMG .50 cal. round and the .338 Lapua Mag. the 7.62mm round is the most used. In both the US Military and in the coalition forces as well.

The 5.56mm is constantly being upgraded...it's time has come to go. The troops are disappointed with it's lethality.

  • @countrysamurai well that's the choice for this rifle in my Golani sporter I prefer 5.56 and yes I know the 7.62 is the most used cause it's a cheaper and effective round same as the 5.56.

  • @IfinduIgetu I have a Golani and I really like it. I would use the heavier bullet weight (62gr SS109) if I had to go to war with it. Unfortunately, the Golani is only manufactured in 5.56mm.

But...if I had the money...I would have the Galil ARM in 7.62mm. Now that is the weapon of war. (I also love the AK47)

  • @countrysamurai I know a place you can buy a bore chambered in 7.62 for my galil but i wouldn't recomend it just go with 5.56

  • @nthnkilgore All other things being equal, the 5.56 NATO performs generaly poorly against substantial cover (masonry, steel thicker than 1/4", logs, etc compared to heavier calibers, because of the projectiles small mass. It comes down to kinetic energy, you can't defy the laws of physics.

  • @nthnkilgore USA is cock suckers. All they did in Vietnam was massacre some million humans and bomb a nation with more bombs dropped totally under WWII. War is shit and the reason why USA and other nations involves in others conflicts is because greedy corporations wants to earn a shitload of cash

  • @SMGJohn ok mr.period first of all ww2 was caused by the blood thirsty japs and not some "coporation" second vietnam was cause because South vietnam was our ally and we were in a cold war, War maybe shit but it makes the world go round do your research.

  • @IfinduIgetu Hmm, someone who barely knows history? Fine I give you points for knowing WWII happened and that Vietnam war was real. But your wrong on both. Neither did the Japanese start World War Two and neither did America backup their ally, why? Because not just did America drop like two times more bombs then used in whole WWII at Vietnam. They bombed their ally as well without carring. With Soviet intel both North and South was able to escape the bombing for a while.

  • @SMGJohn Ahhhh well your govt propoganda will get you no were show me the books and websites from PHD's that know wayyyyyy more about it than you then we will see who knows nothing of history. Your right the Japs didn't start WW2 the started WW2 for America.

  • @SMGJohn You aint making sense 1 point.

  • @kingtaythe2 Your just to stupid to understand

  • @nthnkilgore it doesnt go through bricks when i shoot them...doesnt go through steel plates either even using pentration rounds.

  • @joshkkv You dont have armor piercing rounds

  • @joshkkv what kind of "penetration rounds" did you used?

  • @curseofa5r5a srry. my friends comment, he used my firearm to shoot some bricks/cynder blocks. (hes kinda new to guns) im guessing he meant FMJ rounds since i only had fmj and HP's. so idk what he meant.

  • @joshkkv ok, but iv seen people punching holes in 1/4" steel plates at 100 yrds with ss109 ammo (also know as greentip, m855 or penetrator) and iv made the same to cynder blocks with the ligther m193 firing from a micro galil at 50 mts, thats why your friend`s comment looked soo weird for me.

  • @nthnkilgore It doesn't go through bricks nor through steel... Need to be quite close to penetrate them...

  • @nthnkilgore amen brother but i still love my old 7.62x54R anyday of the week, i was engaging a steel 1/4 inch steel plate at 800 metres and they where going through like a cold knife through butter, 5.56x45mm is a great round but personally im old school gotta love the heavy rounds

  • @nthnkilgore How many CIVILIANS do you believe can get their hands on a crate of 5.56 NATO rounds?!

I have seen the comparison with .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO rounds. The NATO is designed military in mind. The 5.56 for CIVILIAN use. .223 does NOT penetrate concrete bricks. 5.56 does because its designed to.

You tell me where i can buy some, if the effin government allows, and Ill buy a crate of NATO rounds. IF its affordable.

  • @psychobeam99 lots of places online sell it, Lake City 556 in 62 grain, you didnt look very hard, its easy to get

  • @DaytonaRoadster yeah, but I have trouble trusting websites like that, I mean when your sending hard cash or giving some one your ID and credit card info across the country, thats a bit of a concern for me. Thanks though.

  • @psychobeam99 ammunition to go, its THE best ammo site on the web, i order all my ammo from them

  • @DaytonaRoadster Hmmmm. Ill check it out thanks

  • Vietnam was also fought on the political battlefield in mind instead of through the soldiers/marines eyes. Neighboring country like Cambodia harbored NVA and VC. 95% of the ambushes happened near the borders of harboring countries. It was a limited war. You never fight a war with limits. You fight to kill and get the job done, not to put smile on faces.

  • After about 400 yards, the lighter 5.56 has lost a lot of velocity, and isnt as effective as when it left the barrel.

  • You are very correct. The same goes for the 7.62x39mm. The 7.62 Nato along with the 6.8 SPC are much better cartridges at longer ranges because the retain so much kinetic energy.

  • The real disadvantages of the AK are the mediocre sights, the short sight radius, and the ergonomics. I'm not knocking AKs either. I am an AK guy inside and out, but these are all truths. Personally, the only real issue I have with my AMD 65 is the lack of cheek weld, and the awkward length of pull. If you swap out a better stock, add peep sights or optics, a bigger pistol grip, and better handguards, I'd take it over anything. I basically just described the galil.

  • shove that gun in your behind

  • i guess it works fine when shooting kids that are throwing rocks at you

  • lol noob!!!!

  • MUHAMAD

    LOVES

    TO EAT 9 year OLD

    CHILDRENS TITZ

  • i hope he had ear protection because firing indoors can cause some serious hearing damage.

  • iI he is able to obtain automatic weapons then I assume he's responsible enough to wear ear protection.

  • what damn year was this gun made in 1900's or something

  • more like 1970s...

  • Left side charging handle? 0:27 - see how awkward that is?

  • Uhhh, I mean "right side."

  • the chargine handle bent upwards , in that way it even more faster and comfortable to reload.

  • Plenty of rifles have the charging handle on the right side, and yet the world continues to turn.

  • حلت لعنة ربي عليكم

  • البندقية التي تساعدك في الحصول على العذارى سريعة

  • Yeah, what he said, only louder...

The Galil ranks among the finest military rifles ever produced. Rock solid, reliable, accurate and easy to operate and maintain.

  • You forgot one key point: The Galil comes with a bottle opener. I call it the brain popper.

  • wron this has more power and is more accurate.

  • no, the 7.62x39 round is more powerfull than the 5.56 because the 7.62x39 bullet has a larger bullet and it basically just passes right through the target

  • AK 47 IS BETTER

  • m16 is even better

  • Vz.58 is even better than m16. But not in range....

  • wow either hesw deaf or he wearing ear plugs lodged in his braIN OR I TURNED THEVOLUME TO LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No hearing protection in a closed space like that = deaf man...lol. Nice gun.

  • Ear plugs perhaps?

  • i have one of those =P

  • if u look at 0:7 u can see the bullet cartridge flick in front of the cam

  • so what is your point??

  • nothin

  • You might wanna know that it shoots the 5.56 (.223), therefore it will have a much lighter recoil than the AK-47 (also, it'll be more accurate), at the expense of some power. I think it's even heavier, which by itself is not very good, but it lowers the recoil, thus actually giving you an advantage when "spraying"...

  • Oh...

  • also, it's not like m16 model weapons because the stock drops down instead of it being behind the bolt carrier the gun tends to rise more when fired.

  • lol isnt it spray and PRAY?

  • The Germans invented it, the Russians improved it, and the Isrealis perfected it.

    Love this rifle.
