  • combing your hair when it is wet is worse! the comb is thinner and will break your hair even more! and also lol at how short the stylists hair is . btw i am not trying to be nasty but im trying to help you people who want to grow your hair or whater, soz if your offended xx LIKE IF THIS HELPED

  • ive damaged the front of my hair from wearing it up in a ponytails and buns for about 10 years and ive los alot of hair at the front of my head. and my hair has broken at the front and i nnow have a lot of fly aways is there anything i can do/use to make my hair grow back? and make my flyaways grows back faster?

  • Thanks so much 4 ur tips, im goin 2 visit a new stylist on friday so fingers crossed i can stay blonde and hopefully get it back in 2 good condition, thanks so much <3

  • I wish all hair stylists knew this. They should because they are supposed to be experienced professionals. I had a stylist who broke off so much of my hair on the top of my head while touching up my roots by letting the bleach overlap on previously bleached hair. It was awful and to this day I still have breakage from that and that was about 2 years ago!

  • @christenemitri

Oh my God same thing happened me last November and my hair is only 3-4 inches long on top now, i feel like its never going 2 grow it just keeps breaking off, i think il have to dye it brown 2 get it back in condition :( cause if iv 2 put up with it 4 another year im gona buy a wig!!!

  • @Ciara2010ish I'm so sorry you went through that experience. I know how you feel. It's really frustrating when a hairstylist ruins your hair. It makes you wonder how they got their license in the first place. I still bleach my hair but with a better stylist. If you still want to be blonde I would suggest only only do the roots every 2-3 months. Also shampoo only 1-2 times a week but condition daily and use a leave in conditioner and less heat styling products. Be patient and good luck.

  • @christenemitri AH! I have the same problem! Although, I have to blame this on myself, not a stylist. I was dying my own hair (blonde) for about a year and a half...every time I re-dyed it, I was going just a bit lighter, so I felt like I should dye it all again. : / Oops. My breakage doesn't look horrible, but it's not great, either. It bothers me because I know it's there! :P haha

  • @CrankUpTheAmps Sorry you had to go through that experience even if you did it yourself. I did what you did in the past when I was in my late teens but because I have been bleaching it so long now I just have a salon do it because it's so hard to only color the roots yourself and not touch the already bleached hair. Sad to day my hair still has not fully grown back even after 2 years but it is getting better and I have a much better stylist now. I hope your hair gets better too! :)

  • @christenemitri I am going to get my color done at a salon next month...just made the appointment! :P I had noticed this breakage in my hair about a year and a half ago...just on one side of my head. I part my hair on the side...and now that side is growing out slowly, but the other side has been seeming to break more. UGH! I think that I am going to part my hair in a different area to reduce further stress on these parts of my hair!!

  • @CrankUpTheAmps Yeah there is always one side that gets more damaged than the other. My hair is pretty thick and puffy but when I first had the breakage it looked so much thinner and it was noticeable in pictures. I can get most of it into a ponytail now but it still needs to grow to get back to the length of the rest of my hair. The best advice I can give you if you color is to condition everyday and shampoo less often and just be very patient. Good luck sweetie.

  • @christenemitri Excellent...thanks for the advice!! Quick question...what type/brand of conditioner do you prefer, if any specific kind, that is?

  • @CrankUpTheAmps I like conditioners made for damaged or over processed hair but I change the brands a lot. Sometimes if I use one for too long it is no longer as effective but maybe that's just my hair because it is so damaged and dry. One of the brands I like is the Victoria's Secret so Sexy Shampoos and Conditioners. They are reasonably priced if you can stock up on them during their semi annual sales at Victoria's Secret but usually they are about $10-$12 a bottle.

  • @christenemitri Oh, awesome! I will have to check out those ones!! Thank you! :)

  • @christenemitri Thank you!!! I'm glad yours is getting better, and I hope it continues to keep growing!!!! :)

  • she seems like she's in a bad mood
