@L3irus I think he was saving his meter more for rapid cancels, to help mix up, and prevent getting punished for a blocked DP. Also not all characters distortion moves are as easy to land outside combos as tagers are at this lv of play.

@Razemaster58 Dude, in case you haven't noticed, Ragna could land Carnage Scissors at so many points. Cause the guy using Tager always tries to pull Ragna by using magnetic attacks whenever Ragna is magnetized.

And at 2:23, Ragna could use Blood Kain to prevent himself from getting caught.

Learn how to play some BB CS before you call somebody a noob without any reason and without trolling.

There is no infinite juggling. There are several things in place(burst, decaying combos) to prevent infinites.

The game's characters are a lot more diverse than street fighter's. There are no shoto clones. Characters play much, much more differently than SF4.

Mobility is higher, like in Guilty Gear. Blazblue is basically a somewhat less complex guilty gear with tech rolls.

I don't know how you can judge that there's "not much of a balance" just by watching one video, though.

Also, large combos can bring in resource management for characters, and deciding between damage and okizemi, so combos do add more than flash.

And besides simply being like guilty gear mechanically,(Barrier block, counter assault, rapid cancel instead of FADC, airdashes, more focus on okizemi than footsies) I think a lot of it really is cast diversity. Carl has a doll and tries to trap you between them, Tager has magnetism, rachel pushes with wind, etc. Adds a lot to master/adapt to.

2 is the position of the directional button (2 is down btw) and the c refers to the square triangle circle x buttons on the controller. wake up being the first move down after youve been knocked on the ground.
