  • Genius

  • asshole, piss and whore

  • so sad ... smart and genius but SAD

  • This is very unlike the Spankers' other stuff. Wammo excels himself.

    Go guys.

  • I know damn well purchasing those ribbons don't do shit for support, thats why I don't buy them. I prefer to shake a soldiers hand and thank them

  • It's bawdy, silly, and funny. And also a demonstration that freedom of speech is powerful, even when it's bawdy, silly, and funny. :)

"I'm sitting here in Iraq/and I wish my head had eyeballs in the back/It's a bummer that my Hummer isn't armored to the "T"/To show your support you spent $1.93 (one dollar ninety three)......"

Agree or disagree with either or both of the wars, but it lampoons a festering apathy much in need of lancing.

Bravo. I'm proud that free speech has endured.

  • This is so un-US Consumer.

  • Bloody brilliant! And very, very, very funny.

  • Greetings from Poland! you did a great show on Rawa Blues Festival!

  • Yes, they were awesome!!!

I've bought every album after the concert :))))

I'm looking for their lyrics now!

  • Actually the military set up the yellow ribbon campaign and if you noticed - the magnets are made in... (wait for it)...China!

Talk about a psychological operation on the American people to support the war with the emotional saying "Support the Troops"! Well, who could resist that? Amazing how this works on people.

  • I know someone who spent at least 200 bucks on ribbons..

They put them on refrigarators, A LOT of them. They must think they actually go towards a cause.. fo sad.

  • We created the Anti-Ribbon to express our opinion that the yellow ribbon and "Support Our Troops" slogan is a form of propaganda, and pro-war propaganda at that. Whether they know it or not, we believe that people who put yellow ribbons on their car are telling the rest of the world that war in Iraq is okay, and that war, in general, is an acceptable, viable solution to our problems.

  • wow, thats pretty arrogant. i dont think war is a solution to anything, but i do know that putting words in peoples mouths without even knowing their opinion is the same kind of egotistical attitude that starts wars in the first place.

  • This is awesome!

  • Lol, Jarron you commented on this...

  • hah Matt you checked this

  • Ah, the good old days when gas was just $1.93

Bush says they hate us for our freedoms -- No, George, they hate you for taking their oil while propping up dictatorships and kingdoms -- The big winners are EXXON, Halliburton, Blackwater and the likes of them.

  • I think they mean the magnetic yellow ribbons cost 1.93...I can remember 75 cents - maybe the first six months I had my driver's license...

  • No that's how much was spent on the soldiers for protection.

  • lol - that sounds about right...

  • SO RIGHT ON !

  • Excellent!

  • true

  • Very funny video and song! I was reminded of the Fugs, Smothers Brothers, and Mel Brooks' "Inquisition" while watching this.

  • Indeed bro; the fugs? you are as old as me I bet, lol

  • It doesn't matter whether you are conservative or liberal, this war is a f*ckin disaster (for everyone w/o stock in KBR etc., and we're ALL paying for it. And Part II is coming up--our fleet is sending ships to prepare for the next installment--Iran.

  • Of course the war sucks; DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHH! I still think that Morgan (The director) and the crew,(Asylum Street Spankers)did a kick ass job reminding us just that, good day. :)

  • Didn't they, though? I love them. :)

  • That's about covers, middle America 'patriotic' pretentions, as humorously as one can.

    Good biting comedy.

  • F-ing brilliant!

  • Very nice.

  • Brilliant, trenchant and gets the point across.

  • Brilliant, trenchant and gets the point across.

  • Sophomoric, don't you think?

  • Only if you're stuck on stupid (GWB).

Conserbatives never get the funny bits.

  • Sorry you lose, but I'm a liberal (or should that be liVeral by your spelling of conserBative heehee!) It doesn't get any point across. It's a bad idea to agree with something to the point of following blindly. I'm think that perhaps it is you who are the conserbative!

  • sometimes sophomoric humor is the only way to go. I guess you didn't get the funny bits. You didn't find it funny? Oh well, find something else to watch. I suppose you think that invading Iraq was a good idea.

  • Genius. Pure genius!

  • Believe it or not, my MOM sent me a link to this video.

  • Funny as hell! I liked it!

  • Right on, glad you like it :)

  • Awesome! Everything these guys (and gal) do is awesome, so it comes as no surprise.
