IDK why most ppl are critical about these models' weight and size... if ppl would take the time and actually acknowledge that these are sample sizes not sizes that the designer only caters too
I agree, the 'heels' the ladies were wearing extenuates the model's silhouette from the added height (6" if I remember correctly). Vlada is thin as always, but she looks noticeably thinner in this show from the added height.
I don't support anorexia or any other eating disorder INCLUDING binge eating, which is what a lot of fat people suffer from, but I hate that people just have to resort to assuming that they have an eating disorder. Is it not an insult to them if you call them anorexic when they know they aren't?
Point being is that if you see these models in any other show, you probably wouldn't think they're sick because their appearance is different based on the show they are in.
I think the intention of the show was the make them appear emaciated. The make-up is darkened beneath the cheekbones to make their face look more gaunt. They look miserable because that is what the designer wants. If they walked down the runway smiling in these garments, the whole art of the show would be taken away.
The shoes which add extra height, the clothing which are either black, really tight or really loose, are all things that make them look thinner.
why is it that it's usually fat people who always have to make negative comments about people thinner than them? just because they're smaller than you, it doesn't make them anorexic or unhealthy. a lot of models are naturally thin or they eat healthy or work out.
even if these people are 'fatter' than these models, its not exactly the reason lmao. are you looking at this? they literally look like they are on heroine or something- the living dead. they dont look what-so-ever enjoying their job. there were a couple who actually looked "alright"
How anybody could create clothes as beautiful and precious as these mesmerises me!! I have loved Olivier's work before but this breathes Elegance, Art and Class to the Extreme. Exquisite!!!

Yeah smiling in this scene would totally look insane! Go from gothic tension to punk attitude! Not so Nina Ricci.

OI! I am pretty pretty slim, but those are waaaay too skinny.
I understand they are doing catwalk, couture, clothes hangers, but does not look good even on film....
Only a photo shoot will make it look fuller...
