I alredy got (2x2048)4GB ddr2 ocz sli ready edition dual channel 800mhz and want to put (2x1024) 2GB ddr2 dual channel corsair memory 800mhz in order to have 6GB ram system
is there any problem with dual chanbels or something like that?
my motherboard XFX nForce 680i Sli LT ATX supports up to 8 gb ddr2 in a 64bit system
Well I spend so much time there that I suppose you could say that I live there :) But this is just my basement and I sleep (and on occasion eat) upstairs.
Do you know the model number of the computer you are trying to upgrade? Also if you're computer is that old you may find that a lot of the modern components (including RAM) are no longer compatible with the computer.

I've got a dell 8300 and I recently bought a gig
of ram from amazon. It was called 184-pin dimm or something. Do you know if it will be compatible?

Do you live in that area there or do you just do your work there? I would love to have a room like that.
