I don't know why Saban thought to edit it out of that shot as they did in the battle in“Doomsday” part 1 right after the Rangers formed DIBM.

This scene does have some the more awkward edits done to the zyuranger footage for MMPR the zyu footage was the traditional role call scene with the new 6th ranger and the cut done was to remove the footage of the Zords floating on there heavenly cloud as gods by close cutting to the three zords faces when they roar that is why the footage is so bright in those scenes. the show had a lot of work arounds to edit around the fact that the zords in japan were alive and the megazord was there god.

Saban took the morphed footage from Super Sentai, cut it together with the American unmorphed footage, and dubbed over it. Later on they started producing their own morphed footage, but that changed with the transition to Power Rangers Zeo and they went back to using Japanese footage.
