@cheetodude24 i do believe that difference concerning specifically semi professional and pro is small nowadays. d7000 is perhaps all we want. check out... freedslr dot com change dot with . and get an opportunity win completely new Nikon D7000

These little videos are great. I have had my 50D for 3 months and I have learned loads from these vids in the 30 mins I have watched them.

I have the 30d and upgrade to the 50D!!
Stil learn the wireless flash system with it. Bear in mind only the Canon 580Xii will work with the External Custom functions and not the others.
On the lenses, don't use 3rd party lenses like sigma on it, the Canon has a function that cancel vignetting

You can turn off the vignetting correction. If you have an issue with vignetting you can easily fix that in photoshop. So using 3rd party lenses isn't a problem.
