  • im surprised the train managed to stop. Unless trains slow down at level crossings. But I mean slowing a train isnt easy.

  • why the fuck did he stop?

  • Would be funny if that door opened on the train and the conductor gets out and bitch slaps him.

  • why the f*** did he back up??

  • WOW the train had to stop aswell

  • @BenTrainFan Probably applied brakes as soon as he saw the van, trains only go about 15mph over that crossing anyway so easy to stop

  • @nickyboy77 Trains always slow to a crawl at ungated branchline crossings for precisely this reason. Too many idiots in a rush.

  • when the guy got out of the van, the seat came with him

  • luckest fucker ever

  • so close to killing yourself, you silly van idiot, you know what level crossings are used for, DUH!!

  • How do you even get inside a mind like this?

  • would it not be quicker to just keep going forward... DRAMA QUEEN! lol

  • Lalalalala....

    Oh a level crossing,

    FUCK! A TRAIN!

    'Goes backwards'

    Phew

  • blind nob

  • Shiplake Level Crossing?

  • The shadow of the van both on the ground and on the train seems to indicate its true.

  • why did the train stop?

  • @wimanyu The driver would have hit the emergency break the second she/he saw the van stop on the crossing. Most TOC's tell their drivers to do that and look away.

  • he could also go without reversing

maybe he wanted to shooff how quickly he could reverse

  • How the hell did the train stop so quickly?

  • look at the bit of film , the lights are clearly flashing red .

the van driver is a knob a prat and a moron .

it's just a shame his car was not hit hard .

people , wake up at train crossing's for godsake or retake your driving licence .

  • WOW that was close

  • Why aren't there any barriers on that crossing?

  • FAKE

    1. The train stopped too quickly from the speed it was travelling at.

    2. It's impossible to change from any gear into reverse as fast as that.

  • @joetorsneyTrains With it being an open crossing with no barriers, the line speed won't be very high, and if it's near a station, it will be barely moving at all. It could well be real, but why on earth he stopped on the crossing then reversed, rather than carrying on (which would have been much quicker!) is beyond me!

  • FAKE

  • That 166 stopped a lot quicker than I expected it too. You can still see the 1st class markings on the first coach.

  • that was a close call! the guy who was driving that car must have been shitting himself.

  • It would only be possible to get into reverse that quickly if the car was an automatic

  • i can't tell whether it's fake or real. If it's real, then that is the closest near miss i've ever seen. I really thought he'd get hit.

  • @tolscar i'm pretty sure its real cos that train stopped DAMN QUICK!!!

  • Hmmm, train stops in film but car doesn't..... Time and motion study maybe, lol

  • How stupid can you get? He should not have ignored the red lights, but having got that far he would have been much safer if he'd kept going.. If a train is coming you don't stop in front of it!

  • @sparkygl0s i'm still trying to figure out why he stopped and how he put the car in reverse that quick

  • @TheEdboy360 ya. who the hell is he reverse that quick. it's like he just change the gear to reverse in half a sec.

  • @TheEdboy360 Sped up film. He COULD have made it.
