Hi Larry, Just wanted to check back and see how well your Zagg is holding up ? Do you still have the Zagg screen shield on as well as the back ? Any problems to report ?
How long did you have to leave your phone with them? I'm assuming there is installation time and "drying time." Any info you can provide on the logistics would be greatly appreciated.
It only takes them 10 minutes to install it. Leave times depend on how busy there are. They wrap it up in a towel and ask you to keep it off and wrapped for 2 hours to dry. Then no case for 2 days.
My mall has a Zagg "Booth" and it is really cool. Lots of product in stock. But I didn't know they install for you. Thats really really cool. But $10....meh.
they're really really different. i've used bodygaurds (which is similar to zagg) but im using wrapsol now. wrapsol is matte and doesnt cover the entire phone. it sort of fits like a gelaskin would. i dont mind that though, i like how the matte finish prevents fingerprints and just looks cool. plus it's super super easy to install. so it depends on what you're looking for.
Nice vid Larry. I know my local Best Buy will install them also for and extra $10 so I am guessing most will. But i have never heard of the carts they have but I also do not have an Apple store near me.
I sort of do this professionally myself, and can definitely say it is well worth having it done properly. A proper installation by a professional will greatly reduce the orange peel effect that most people complain about with this material.
Thanks for the info Larry. Although unfortunately for me no such thing in Ireland :( Whats interesting in the list is that they dont have any of these carts in Australia or the U.K. either but do for some countries you wouldnt think they would. When they install it is there still that orange peel effect?
oh man, why not just use a pouch to carry it in with the shield ?
Did you change screen protectors as well ? what do u use now as for the screen shield ? Thanks for replying.

That's what I did, but I like cases too much to do that for very long. I'm using the Power Support Anti Glare.

I took it off, not because i had an issue with it but because there aren't many cases you can use with it on.

Wow, much shorter than I expected. Thanks for the quick reply!
I have some Bodyguardz on the way but may go this route instead....seeing as I don't even have much luck installing a screen protector.

The back looks incredible! Installing the front is not difficult but the installation of the back can be tough.
