Only proves what I've always believed. Rabbits are cruel jerks that treat their own like dirt. They eat their own feces, damage crops for farmers, bite other animals and chew on electrical chords.
What role did mother nature have for them? Food for predators. Virtually all predators hunt rabbits for prey. That's their place. Running away and multiplying rapidly is the only way they won't go extinct in a few generations
With that in mind I gladly feed them to my Burmese Python every single time
She's okay just the way she is. Aggressive bunnies are awesome! I learned to love my angry girl. catch some of her videos to see how an angry bun goes through life
@beautifulstar33 Like cats, it depends on the individual, as well as the breed. Some breeds tend to be friendlier (like Maine Coon cats, for example) and others tend to be a bit more individual. It also depends a bit on how they're raised. Rabbits that are fearful and nervous can bite a lot. If you're thinking of getting one, get one from a rabbit rescue! They will know all of the rabbits they have and which ones are friendliest and best for you.
@msdogooder The carrot thing is solely because of Bugs Bunny. Before then, the two weren't associated with each other beyond occasionally adding a baby carrot to the bunny's mix of other, healthier things. When WB gave Bugs his carrot, they ruined the health of pet bunnies everywhere.
@singingismypassion She calmed down a ton after being spayed! You should take up that spaying at your vet, $200 is a cheap deal. I drove 2 hrs to pay $300, much cheaper than others around here.
Did her attitude change after you spayed her? My rabbit does the same things. She is that aggressive. It was like you described Mufasa (my female, holland lop) in the description of this video. I need to spay her. She's 6 months, but the spaying at my local vet want $200!! re-donk-u-lous!!!!!
What a beautiful rabbit, I love the black and white pattern. I know nothing about rabbits so it is pretty interesting to know that they can be aggressive at times. By the way do rabbit owners only feed their rabbits carrots?
@msdogooder Thank you! Actually, you should rarely give carrots. They are high in sugar, which is bad for rabbits; like how we should rarely get a massive sundae. What they do need, though, is lots of leafy greens! No iceberg lettuce, it has no nutritional value. I mostly feed collard greens, bok choy, turnip greens, kale, and spinach. They also need access to fresh hay 24/7. I learned a lot about vegetables thanks to having her, and it's made me eat healthier, as well :)
@xxExistentialismxx Wow this is incredible information thanks so much. Its safe to say that we have a lot in common w/ rabbits (in terms of needing to eat only healthy leafy greens & such)...also fresh hay 24/7? A lot goes into caring for such a little lady…But look at how beautiful & healthy she is so it is well worth it. I'm so happy that Lilly has such an amazing owner such as yourself…ok Lilly let the extreme aggression continue because it is the cutest thing :-D.

Rabbits don't come in season, they can breed year round, like humans.
xxExistentialismxx 6 months ago
that would be because she's in season and wants babies even through she been sprayed they could of missed bits that why she so agressive,

She was spayed at 9 months old, well over a year ago.

you should really spay/neuter her. these are typical signs of a "teenage" and very hormonal rabbit. you'll find that her temperament will get better.
